I want to ask my friend for his birth data so I can do a birth chart for him. The thing is how do I ask him? Do I just ask straight forward, or subtley? All I need is his place and time of birth. He is Aquarius! IP: Logged |

I would just say that I wanted to give him a gift of a birth chart (thats if you dont want it to be a surprise)? If hes the one with the depression, maybe you could say to him that it may help him get a better understanding of himself. Yang, just a thought what age are you - it isnt anything to do with your Saturn return is it, the way youre feeling? xIP: Logged |

Hi Sue GYes it is the guy with the depression I mentioned in the aspects/suicide post. He doesn't believe in astrology so how can I get past that in order to do a birth chart for him? I really want to see why he is suffering and also to see what makes us click together. I am 21! IP: Logged |

Okay Yang, you could try saying that you were reading about the time of day affecting moods, personality etc, for example I ws born in the afternoon and I am really not a morning person. As for the place, just try and drop that in afterwards? What do you think. When is your birthday Yang and have you ever put up YOUR chart? xxxIP: Logged |

lol Usually, when I'm interested in someone star sign I just ask how old they are.. so they say..*insert age*.. and I'm like really? cool when do you turn *insert age* . That's always worked for me cause they usually say the date.. but some just say the month..With the time, what Sue G just said would prolly be a good idea. But I strongly doubt he'd know the exact time of the top of his head. It might be a good idea to actually tell him the truth. Aquarians have a high weirdness threshold.. I doubt he'd think it was the weirdest thing that's ever happened to him. He'd prolly like you for being "weird" or asking a "weird" question. Even if he doesn't believe in astro, the fact that it's kinda taboo and something different that society doesn't really recognise as important ..would draw him to it :edit: actually a good way to get him to believe in it would be to point out how conventional and just plain normal it is to not believe in it.. Ask them a question impossible for them to know the answer to - then tell them you can find out for them through intuitive means - "now what did you say our birthdate was?"IP: Logged |

When I first walked home with my boyfriend I just asked him. I asked what is your sign what time of birth blah blah. he gave me a lecture and said that his birth certificate says 9pm but he was really born at 9am. Now a days its normal for people to ask that. Just ask.
