I've noticed recently that I quite often act the opposite of whatever company I'm in. If I am aroung loud vulgar people, I'm more quiet, cool, and sophisticated. If I'm aroung quiet people, I'm more outgoing, talkative, and so forth. This especially goes for being around more than one person. I think I only usually do it if I feel that a group needs balance. You know, needs some diversity, a fork in a drawer full of spoons.
So does anyone else do this, and what planets do you think are responsible?

Not when I'm hanging out with people so much as when I'm in debate conversation. I usually take the opposite and play devils advocate.

Yeah, I do this all the time and I blame my Libra ascendant!
Although it might also be a Uraninan thing- need to shock, etc.

I guess it would depend on your motives- harmony and balance or just being wacky and different from the crowd.

So all of you would say either Libra or Aquarius?

Mars in Libra
Moon Conjunction Venus 1°24
Mercury Conjunction Venus 4°01
Born on Fri. the 6th, and some Magi astro thing I did said my birth planet was Venus.
I also have 5 planets in the 7th house including Sun & Moon, and some other minute Venus details.
Ascendant Aquarius 11°16'44
Sun Trine Uranus 3°56
and a few other minute Uranus details.

Any of you have some of the same placements?
I do, without question, debate like a Libra. I think it annoys people sometimes that I argue with everything like Libra Suns do. Can't help it though.

Right on fayte.m, we have another Zeppelin fan! I did get the name from that song. ZOSO got her name from the album too, although I'm sure you've noticed that.

I always do that, and I didn't even notice it until you made this topic, BOE. It's something I do unconsciously- I can't really help it. I have a Libran Moon.

Listening to them right NOW! Last night my husband just had to get Stairway to Heaven on CD, so we went out at 11pm at night to any stores opened 24 hours. No luck at the first few, but finally found it at the new 24 hour wally world super mart(WalMart).
Sure sounds better than the cassette tape! I still miss the tangibility of vinyl though.

I've seen Bob Dylan (of course) twice. The Who, Santana, Moody Blues, Steve Miller Band, Jethro Tull, Paul Simon.....to name a few. I'm so lucky to have seen some of these bands!!!

I totally do that.
If someone's in a bad mood, I will take the opposite road. Cheer them up if I can, or let them brood while I do what is needed.
You'd think I were mutible.. nope, mostly fixed.
I am almost always the yin to a yang. I try to fit the container I am in.
If I am free to roam, I will generally be loud though.

Libra moon here, too. (And a few other libra planets) but, yep, I do the same thing. Especially in relationships... if I'm dating an ultraserious guy, then I find that I'm a bit wild. The guy I'm dating now is a life of the party type, who could turn a funeral into a three-ring circus. I find it impossible to cut loose and have fun with him...

Kinda sucks. All about the balance.

I totally do the same thing. Quiet around loud noisy people and more extroverted and talkative around quiet people. I have aquarius rising and Uranus in Libra so that probably has someting to do with it. That's probably why i love to argue and i am always changing my mind.

Before i found out my rising sign i would have sworn i had libra rising because i am always going back and forth when i have to make an importnat decision.

Sevene, it could be the air thing too, because although my Moon is in Libra, I also have a Gemini ascendent and an Aquarian Mercury and Venus.
