I have been asking it to couple of people here and have got intersting answers about their id from heart shaped cross,thosa,fayte.m,cancerrg,etc.So I just thought of starting a thread.

I would like to know what does your id signifies and if it won't be your present id then what would be the possible choice.

Which id is the coolest on this forum.
What kind of mental image does that give you?

I am not sure whether all you check the ids of everyone when you read their messages but maybe while replying you must have.

I start I am a scorpio and I am girl so that was most easiest id to think of.SCORPIONGAL.If not this id then something which sounds hip and young...liuke trendy, mystry and so on.

I am curious to know what does pixelpixie,Secret Garden, pidua, and A perfect Circle stands for.

Yeah, I like 'hot ice', that's a good one.

'The mutable night force' is also great!

I'm just a Pixel ( computer image, pixels)
Pixie, cuz I like pixies.
My man calls me his pixie, and I have a pixie tattoo.. I have always loved wing-ed things.
Thanks for asking!!!!

Funny, in another thread, I read that you thought I was like 50 or something and was surprised to see my actual age through my pics.. (Thanks for the compliment BTW .)
I am a trash mouth sometimes, not 'trash' but you know....kinda' naughty. I am surprised you would liken me with a mature adult. I guess every once and a while something okay comes out. Maybe it's the Cap Moon making me seem older.

Scorpiongal!!! It is nice you have started a similar topic here. Cool. I just wanted to say that I started one like it in Free For All. Here was mine, just in case anyone here missed that thread. It made it to, I think 46 replies and then got lost in the back pages. I'm glad to see you doing it here.

Just wondered if any of you would like to share the "why" you chose your user name. "what" does it mean to you, or how you wish to be perceived by others, and "who" you are, to whatever extent you can reveal, or not.

And here was my answer:

pixelpixie! I love pixies and mermaids! pixelpixie wins! You read my post about my user name, or you read my mind! Ok...My great grandfather's name was FATE. His mother named him that. She was a Cherokee who had been adopted by a white couple, after her family died on "The Trail Of Tears". Fate married a woman named ERIE.(I also live near Lake Erie) I like what the word "fate" means, and so I borrowed my grandfather's "T" and added to my name, Faye+T=fayte. And I like my real name! Faye=fairy queen, and in some books, "faith" or "fate"! Thanks for asking aqua!

Thanks Sorpiongirl!!! I will answer the other questions you asked in your thread starter after I give it some thought.

'Sassygrrrl' comes from my cat Sassy. I borrowed her name because I thought it would bring me good luck as we share a birthday. The 'grrrl' part is just a play on words as I sometimes call her 'Sassygirl', but using the spelling of 'grrrl' in homage to the 90's Riotgrrrls. (remember those?) And plus, Sassy is like my little riotgrrrl kitty.

ok i'll tell u about your id too - it doesn't have mystery that is so much related to your persona (sad)LOL.
i was reading the family , the last novel by mario puzo and there it has the explanation regarding the name isis . it is greek mythological character who wedded his own sis . isis - did u know this ?
as for mental image , i have not thought of others but fayte - she is in her fourties , calmness on her face , very cordilal , more of a motherly figure , is it so fayte ?

cancerrg! You are close! I am fifty. I have hair that is 4 feet long, auburn hair, with natural blends of auburn, strawberry blond, dark brownish red, silver and white, and very wavy. I have gold/green eyes, I am short, stocky, muscular( I use to power lift and arm wrestle professionally), I am over endowed in the bosoms(would love to be flat!)
have tiny feet and hands, and a somewhat deep, but childlike voice, calm too I am told. I would say I look like a sort of mother nature for the late autumn, or a viking valkyrie. Oh yes, I do not consider myself white or other typical race designation. Why? Because I am freckled. I refer to myself as being of the race of "The Spotted People." That is one of the reasons I think Hagar's wife is cool.. She could be me when I get much older. I think I am much prettier face wise. I have tiny features except for my eyes. Even though I am 50, I feel younger, even 4 years old at times of joy! My husband is 35, helps me stay young!

And yes, I am calm of face, it has kept the wrinkles at bay, I do have smile lines though.
I have usually alot of patience, especially when helping others.
Sorry my posts change, when I read them over for typos, I end up adding to them!!!!!

Mine's so self-explanitory....blah. I love zoso, though, it has a vibe when you say it. "Zoso" It'd be cool if it was my name, or if I named my kid Zoso. Now, the plan for baby name is Phoenix Rose, but it doesn't have a good nickname. Maybe I'll use Zoso instead.

Led Zeppelin fan!!

I love your name, Fayte! How cool is it that Fate married Erie! Pixlepixie rolls off the tongue.
jwhop I'm curious about....where are you?

Wow..... coool. People like my name!

I can never think of names usually and end up calling myself 'shroomy' because I used to be a big Eminem fan! LOL (Just for the record, still am, but the new album isn't a patch on the others).

I'm The Mutable Night Force because (talk about stating the bleedin' obvious) I'm a Virgo which is a mutable night force, so i could also be a Pisces but it's kind of evident from my posts that I'm not. No one's got confused yet!

For the record pixie, I've always thought yours was a great username! Wish I'd thought of it

One who gives warning
My married name using Faye and my married last name anagrams out to; My real life. It lexigrams out to:

cancerrg, i may be totally wrong, but i think that isis was an ancient god...like Ra (the sun-god), the egyptian god in the Pharaonic times before monotheism came to egypt, etc....and I think that Isis was the goddess of fertility and motherhood.

If im not wrong, Isis may be Cancerian or have Cancer moon/asc/stellium, otherwise be Egyptian, or just be interested in the name or the history of it.

My name is just something from a novel I write...it is about a secret garden which the main character of the novel dreams of again and again (A recurring dream), and has symbolic significance in the story...the symbolism of the secret garden is important to me but i dont think i could explain it. There is a vivid picture in my mind of how it looks; with wet green trees and soft earth; and it can only be walked on barefoot.

I wanted the SG initials because the heaviest sign influences in my chart are Scorpio and Gemini. (S-G).

I heard from someone before on this forum that theres a book called Secret Garden but dont know about it, that was not the inspiration of my ID.

I love Pidaua's ID, i think its cool, i think its her real name, am i mistaken? Its a wicked name, love it. I also like Xisiqomelir's ID, dont know if its the real name or not.

Love
SG

Isis
Origin: Egyptian, Mother goddess.
Known period of worship: Early dynastic period(circa 2700 BC) and probably earlier until the end of Egyptian history (circa 400 AD).

Isis is one of the great deities of the Egyptian pantheon and, with Osiris, probably maintained the most universal appeal outside Egypt. Greco-Roman culture was particularly enamored of her and called her the "Stella Maris"(star of the sea), represented in the heavens as the north star. An offspring of Geb and Nut in the Heliopolis geneology, Isis is the mother of the god kings of Egypt and both elder sister and consort of Osiris.
Isis is depicted in human form, but usually wearing a crown in the form of a throne or cow horns encircling a sun disk. She may also be depicted, wholly or in part, as a hawk. From the New Kingdom (circa 1500 BC) onward she is also associated with a device not dissimilar to the ankh symbol and known as the "Isis knot". The symbol was incorporated into a bloodstone amulet known as the tyet.
There is more, but this gives you a better idea of who she is.

The first time I read this subject I had no idea what you were talking about scorpiongal- I thought you were speaking in terms of the id, ego, and superego .

Everlong's my favorite song by the Foo Fighters, and I also just love the word/name.
