Personally I find Mercury fascinating, because it rules communication and thinking. Also, relationship wise, I think it’s really important - after all “Loving is not just looking at each other, it's looking in the same direction.”

So what’s your Mercury in? and do you find you get along with those of the same sign? ( i.e. their Sun is in the same sign as your Mercury Or vice versa )

Mine’s in Aquarius ( fixed ) in the eleventh house - and yes I do get along with the Aquarians I know.

my merc is in Gem but I dont get along with Gem men at all, they irritate the bajeepers out of me... My sun is Gem too so that should make merc more important...I do get along really well with Taurus men , maybe the ones I Get along with have Merc in Gem?

I always fall for the fixed men, usually Leo, Aqua, Taurus, but also Scorp. I dont get why... nowadays Im all for an Aries who is gaga over me.

I was married to a Virgo though, (same ruler--Merc.) his merc was in Virgo, great communication, horrible compatibility overall

whoa, Tarutaru, you are so like me!
My Mercury is in Libra in the 9th House, too. It's in detriment (because it's in the 9th house), the only planet I have in detriment, and it's also the only planet I have that's retrograde. It's conjunct Pluto by 4 degrees and the Sun by 6 degrees. They are all in Libra in the 9th house along with Jupiter and Saturn and Ceres.

What does it mean that Mercury is my only retrograde planet and my only planet in detriment? I have major problems communicating, right?

My Merc is in Libra. In the third house.
Yes, I absolutely adore Libras.
My man's Mercury is in Aries.. I really feel the opposition sometimes.

I don't have any friends with Mercury in Gemini but I do have an excellent rapport with my son who is also Sun & Mercury in Gemini like me!

Friendwise, the one I can communicate with most easily has Mercury in Virgo.

i have a natal mercury in capricorn in the 6th house.

sun (in sag, 5th house) conjunction mercury

mercury opposition jupiter (in cancer, 11th house)

mercury trine saturn (in virgo, 1st house)

right now, mercury is transitting my 10th house (taurus) now.
