hi all~~*things are going great with my Gem but I was wondering, with my Moon in Taurus and his Moon in Gemini--will it be hard to understand each other on an emotional level? I get along so well with him now, it's hard to imagine. He's very open and intuitive like me. He always senses when something is wrong. Maybe it helps that he has his Venus and Mars conjunct my Moon? Would that make up for the conflict between our Moons? Any thoughts on this? thank you much and always*

I don't think your Moon signs would be very problematic. There is theoretically a semisextile between them (since Gem is sandwiched between Taurus and Cancer). I've found that Moon in Gem will verbalize their emotions, so it can be good bc you'll know where he stands on things. Perhaps the only thing that might get on your moon's nerves is that his emotions might be a bit airy sometimes, when you want to deal with matters in a practical manner. So if he gets aloof in his emotions sometimes, don't fret. Other aspects might make up for it. The Venus conjunct Moon is wonderful because he will be able to go down to your level and relate to you. So yes, it will make up for any problems you have with his moon sign. It's a great aspect even for regular friendship. Are you a Leo (guessing by your name)? If you are, there should be a theoretical sextile between his and your Sun sign, which also helps with developing a good friendship. But he must be really attracted to you with that Moon conjunct Mars aspect.  Honestly, above all else, if you have good communication, it'll solve a lot of problems, so it sounds like you're heading in the right direction. IP: Logged |

I can already tell that my Gemi can be a bit light-hearted and airy about his emotions at times. He'll tease me in a flirty way, but he knows how to handle me now it seems.
And yes, I am a Leo. Good guess, hehe!!
We do have good communication--maybe it helps that we both have Virgo ASC. Plus, I have Mercury in Virgo and his is in Gemini. And what is it about the Moon conjunct Mars?
Is it a strong attraction? I always thought it might be because my Mars opposes his Venus? I guess it just adds to it? Thanks again~~*

Hi lovely lioness I'm glad I wasn't off on my interp, since I'm not an expert on these astro things. With the Moon conjunct Mars, I had this aspect with someone. It produces magnetism, pretty much makes you attracted to the other person. I also had the Mars opp Venus like you have, so you're right, that shows that you two are sexually attracted to each other. I don't think it really matters who is the Mars or Venus. For me, I was the Venus and he was Mars...most astro sites say that the girl should have the Mars and the guy the Venus since the girl is looking for the guy (Mars), and the guy is looking for the girl (Venus). But, it doesn't really matter. The Moon conjunct Mars operates in a slightly different way than the Mars opp Venus. This aspect indicates you feel attractive around him and in a way that can be expressed well (since it's the conjunct, it should flow pretty well). It's also is a good fertility aspect if you ever plan on going that far. Just beware that since its Mars, you might be a bit wary if you get into any arguments. If he is the Mars, he might hurt your feelings stronger than you would have initially thought. You will be very sensitive to any harsh words. But since Venus is also conjunct your Moon, it won't be an all out battle and will help soften the brunt of negative emotions. IP: Logged |

hi again and THANK YOU.I completely agree with what you said, it totally makes sense! Are you good with house placements? My Taurus Moon is in the 8th house and his Venus/Mars in Taurus are both in the 8th...I don't know what it means. I know the 8th house is a lot like Scorpio, but I don't know what the houses mean in synastry. Do you have any idea? What's your sun/moon/rising sign? I'm guessing there's a chance you could be a Cancer??
