If you are still dumbfounded regarding relationships like I am, maybe it would help to consider the following not-so-obvious combinations :::

* If you think you won't get along with, say, a Gemini - that you'd get along better with a Cancer ... consider a Gemini with their Sun in their 4th House.

* If a part of you feels the need for, say, a Pisces in your life - consider a different Sign who has many positive Aspects to their Neptune.

* If you think you like the intensity of, say, a Scorpio, but you want to find a more laid back type - consider a Scorpio who has a Grand Trine in their Chart.

And any inferences you can make from the above is worth considering.

It's funny you say that. Mr. T likes the spunk of the Sag yet he also wants someone that will love the home (I have my Sag sun in the 4th house)

I like a person that is outgoing and not a couch potato all the time (Mr. T has his Sun Conjuncting his Ascendant in the 1st house).

People wouldn't normally think of a Taurus and Sag - yet with his sun in the 1st and mine in the 4th it helps.

Also... He has Scorp in the Descendant and I have Pluto on my Ascendant. I have Pisces on my DSC / 7th house with is Jupiter( Aries) and Mars Pisces conjuncting my Moon / DSC line (he also has Neptune in Sag in his 7th house conjuncting my Venus / Sun.

Yet, when it comes down to it - he is still a Bull and I am still an Archer..which does cause some angst.

pidaua, my father is a sag and mother a taurus. And they've been married for 28 years. There were some turbulent times, but both are extremely faithful, till death do us part types. However, my father doesn't really have a clue as to how my mother realy feels most of the time. I think this maybe one of the reasons why she is depressed. He can be pretty idealistic and wash everything away with his insistence that she is like his angel. I guess my mom likes that Their relationship works, in my eyes, because my mother likes to play housewife, cook and serve, etc, and my father likes to spend time outside of the house working and come home to my mother's cooking, etc. Both are very spiritual and God loving, albeit in different ways. That's their common bond.

Hi DayDreamer,

Ahhhh...I know what you mean, but in a vice versa since. Mr. Taurus is a homebody that does like to go out on occassion. Sometimes I feel like he just wants me at home- yet he admires my independance. Sometimes, like your mom, I feel like he doesn't understand me or my enthusiasm. In return there are things I don't quite understand about the Taurus man and their need for reassurance.

I seem to offend him so often by being gregarious, yet if the roles were reversed I would understand (and I do). I also feel like he has an unrealistic vision of me and when he realizes that I am not that vision all the time, he gets hurt or irritated. It could be his Neptune in the 7th and the aspects it makes to my Sun. The thing I notice the most about the Taurus male (and actually alot of my Taurus friends) is that they have no problem bending the truth or even outright lying. It just kills me because I don't operate on that level. Sometimes it's as small as a joke that he lets set for a couple of days, and when he finally admits it, I am actually upset. For some reason I document every lie and find myself saying "lie small and you'll lie big". He thinks I am overreacting (and maybe I am). It was just how I was brought up.

Yet, with it all, there seems to be a great about of affection and we do seem to have that "we'll stick it out forever" as long as we aren't unhappy.

It seems that way with alot of Taurus-Sag relationships. We are also very spiritual and in different ways...how funny about the similarities?

What is it that you think keeps your parents together? Do they still enjoy being around each other and joke / laugh? What do they normally fight about?

Ok, this is a great idea.
How about- You want to be with a Virgo who likes to get *dirty* and has no problem with chaos- maybe Uranus aspecting his Sun?
Or.. an Aries who has tact, manners and empathy- a Libra moon? Or 7th/12th house Sun?

My mother is such a homebody, I wonder how much of that is because of my father and how much of that is really her. She makes it out to be that she prefers to just stay home. Are Taureans generally like this?? My mother doesn't get my dad's goofy side, and takes offense to it sometimes...well his goofy side is intertwined with some not so nice truth. She never knew how to deal with that...she just keeps quiet and holds a grudge (unless someone is there to mediate ), while my dad moves on, totally oblivious to what she's hiding. Most people, including myself are oblivious to it as well!! Only recently have I been trying to break down her walls.

I've got Neptune (conjunct Venus) in the 7th house too...I have Saturn and Moon Squaring Neptune which I think help me get back to reality!

I'm not too familiar with Taurean men, but the women I know aren't known for lying. I think the same way...if you make light of small lies, who's to say you won't progress to a bigger lie. Honesty at all levels is important!

My parents fight about petty things in my opinion, their fights have changed over time. Lately I haven't seen them fighting much. Actually they barely ever do! I think they got over alot of that...we'll see what happens when my dad retires. Their fights don't last long at all...at least not visible to my eyes. My dad forgets and forgives too easily and it takes my mom longer to do that as she just keeps quiet about it!

What keeps my parents together...the way they were raised, their beliefs, and personalities. My mother is very fixed and won't budge, even if she only wishes bad for him, she would never think about separating or divorce! She barely ever raises her voice. My father gets angry easily, very short bouts of anger though, and he has talked turkey in the past about divorcing, but he never did, just blank threats.

When it comes down to it I would have to say it was their children that helped them stick through it, and still remain civil and loving towards each other! Their children make them happpy, their greatest gift to each other.

Aries and Libra? Interestingly I know a guy with Aries sun and Libra moon. He was a romantic but was pretty violent and agressive, not with girls, but with other guys. Always getting into fights.

Russel Crowe (psycho jk) - sun: aries
moon: aqua
venus:gemini
mars: aries
Ewan McGregor (more sensitive seemingly)
- sun: aries
moon: gemini
venus: pisces
mars: capricorn

My personal theory on it goes kinda like this..

with fire signs - if they have a lot of air and fire in their personal planets (no squares.. mainly trines and sextiles) that fuels their fire even more so and they're a lot more confident, outgoing, firey - whatever else lol

- if they have a lot of earth and water in their personal planets, they're a lot less firey, a lot less confident, a lot less aggressive, a lot more sensitive (water trait), dependable (earth trait)

with air signs - if they have a lot of air/fire in their pesonal planets.. they come accross as bubbly, flirty, love a good party types. They love excitment and love to have fun, outgoing.. have lots of friends

-if they have a lot of earth/water.. it phazes their air a bit and they become more serious, not necessarily as outgoing, maybe a lot more sensitive - listeners, or alot more grounded (earth sign trait)

with earth signs - if they have a lot of air/fire it's very hard to tell they're an earth sign.. they're the life of the party, no holding bk, no typical earth traits like caution, responsibility, seriousness etc. Specially when they're young. They're more likely to be very outgoing and communicative (air signs) and/or assertive and flamboyant (fire signs)

- if they have a lot of earth water planets.. they do come accross as serious, grounded..calm, sensitive (water). Probably very mature from an early age and very likely to do well in the business world (organised etc) They're also less likely to sway. Once they have an opinion they can get very set in that opinion.

with water signs - if they have a lot of fire/air they can be very proud and opinionated, outgoing. Specially Scorpios tend to come accross as very firey with a fire moon or asc. Less likely to become everyone's psychologist.. this doesn't mean they wouldn't lend a shoulder to cry on, but they have well set boundaries (they wouldn't lose themselves in helping someone else with their emotional troubles). They can detach (air) and assert themselves (fire).

- if they have a lot of earth and water planets they are very very sensitive, posibly psychic lol. Usually, especially Pisces interested in science, physics and good at it. They get a lot of vibes from people, care a lot (maybe too much) about everyone arround them. They probably make the best psychologists. If they have a lot of water (without the earth) they probably express their emotions a lot and say I feel a lot.. If they have a lot of earth, they might be less likely to really open up, and more stable (more stability in their lives) but they'd still be extremly empathetic..

Just my opinion.. I think it might (I'm not sure because I haven't looked at that enough) go for houses as well.. not only planets.. but personaly I've noticed it A LOT when personal planets, sun/moon/merc/venus/mars and Asc come into play..A lot of times I guessed things ppl had in their charts (like with my best friend I would've said she's an aries..but she's a pisces with venus/mars in aries, possibly on her asc) it's happened so many times .. so I came to that conclusion.

disclaimer: this isn't a mold I think everyone fits. I've said this a few times and I still think astrology is just part of it

whoa aries chick thats great, the air-water thing is totally me. becoz i have more planets in scorp than in gem sometimes i feel so torn, more water than air, although i can be so indecisive. my attitude towards relationships has little to nothing to do with scorp or gem tho, its Venus in the seventh in aries, but that opposes pluto on the ascendant too! pluto on the asc would make me even more scorpio like i think!

im so interested in knowing about Aries with Gem moons!

this new aries /gem guy is TOTALLY GOT THE HOTS FOR ME. he even introduced me to his mom and sent me a present on my bday...and calls me every day international long distance (aah). we talk for like at least an hr every day . hes really charismatic and charming and beautiful. and one thing i love: hes what seems like, 100 percent HONEST with me.

the one negative: hes very very jealous of the guys that associate with me...thats the only times ive seen him angry or close to it.

i really do like him tho but trying to let the guy do the chasing this time after my experience with the Aqua

any suggestions? im going to post a separate thread too i think

thanks
Love
SG

Hey SG,

That actually looks really good. Lots of trines/conj going on there (by sign anyways). I think you'd have a lot of fun with this guy, and you seem to be pretty similar -chart wise.. except.. due to your scorp influences, unless he has some pisces/scorp there as well.. he might not understand you emotionally (your emotional depth) as much as you understand his emotional needs (his moon conj your sun).. but overall it looks really good to me for attraction, romance

And actually I think.. didn't add this in, but I think a person who's a Gemini like you with a lot of Scorpio.. could be/come accross a lot more Scorpio-like than a Scorpio person with lots of air/fire planets. And that goes for any sign. I think someone with a stellium in a certain sign, will always relate to that sign quite a bit (more so than their sun sign sometimes.. depends what sign the stellium is in as well) Actually a lot of ppl who don't believe in astrology argue that their sign doesn't fit them.. due to having read the 'typical' sun sign description in your typical mag. I think when you get the feeling your sun sign description really doesn't fit at all, it's due to that kinda thing - a stellium in a very different sign to your sun.. or a lot of planets in 'different' element not a supportive one. Like air is supportive of fire.. water quenches fire.. that kinda thing

But I would watch for hurting each other's feelings. Mars conjunct Moon can cause the Mars person to step on the emotions of the moon person (of at least it feels that way to the moon).

In the same respect - Venus square moon can also cause some miscommunications in the romance / emotional area (BUT...Venus is a benefic planet and therefore the contacts are not "harsh" just annoying).

I have this same aspect with Mr. Taurus - but we have a double whammy. My Venus in Sag squares his Moon in Virgo and His Venus in Cancer squares my Aries moon.

DayDreamer,

I am very happy to hear about your parents. I think Mr. T and I will follow along those lines as we are both stubborn and I seem to get over things rather quickly (but I remember LOTS). LOL

Take care ...and by the way, what sign are you?

aries-chick, your theory makes sense to me. I have a lot of air, but then a pisces moon thrown into the mix. I'm very lively, bubbly, hyper active, but easily absorb others moods, so that naturally happy side of me can change around dry bummer people.

Just saw in the newspaper that russel crowe got arrested for throwing a phone at an employeee lol he is psycho!

SG, you should go for him. Gemini and Aries make a good combination! Is your sun exactly conjunct his moon? That can also be an attracting factor. I love the innocent and honest quality of aries Sometimes I get embarassed with how honest, straightforward aries guys can be. Last week an Aries class-mate was sooo obviously pulling the moves on me in the commuter train for everyone to see. Actually that wasn't his first attempt, but I'm pretty sure his last, unless he tries something at commencement!!

Pidaua, I'm happy too that everything worked out for my parents...hope the same for you and your Mr. T I'm an Aquarian.

My ex was Aries with Libra sun.
He was diplomatic but not empathetic.
And no way romantic..!
By hook or crook he used to get whatever he wants.!

Sorry to hear about that sweetlibra...was he an Aries with a Libra moon? I don't know if that would produce a crook...might be something else in his chart, possibly.

I think a gem with a cancer moon is a s complicated as it gets......picture this, two kids trying to fight with a crab and a scorpion(asc) on the seaside...hmmmmm...

My sis has a confusing chart, its got too many variables playing, aqua with a scopio moon,a virgo rising, and 5 fire planets....pretty tough to evaluate...
