Topic: Linda Goodman's Relationship Signs (time zone?)

Hi,
Has anyone read linda goodman's relationship signs here? Well i m confused,,,coz i was trying to do my chart,,plus a compatibility reading,,,,,but the planets and rising tables do not mention which time zone is being used, is it just GMT then?Plus... the results i got from the book were different to the ones i got on various websites (e.g. astro.com).... so i m very condused right now, I cant afford a professional astrologer, yet i need a reliable source. So could anyone please help me use the book, or give me another reliable source. Thankyou

Ok- this maybe just be me.....
but do you mean Linda Goodman's Love Signs or Linda Goodman's Sun Signs?  And yes! I'm pretty sure most people on here have read it! At a guess I would say most internet charts are set Greenwich Mean Time although I'm not sure and you can probably change what time zone you want it in depending on the site. Welcome to the site! Relationshipd Signs is a good book - one of the best about synastry I've read so far because it is easy to understand. I would try putting your info into astro.com and then printing it out so you know yours (or others) positions in your specific timezome. Then, use that with the book instead of the charts in the back. As far as I can remember, they aren't too specific or to-the-minute. Sometimes that can really make a difference. IP: Logged |

 to the forum monmonitaa!I've never used the Ascendant or Moon Tables in the book, so never wondered about the time zone. But on page 206 it does say "The following tables....are most accurate for births in North America." When you have a free resource like astro.com, I would use it! Do you need any help navigating that website? C'mon back here if you have questions..... I only use "Relationship Signs" after I have done accurate charts at astro.com..... 'Zala IP: Logged |

OH thanks everyone!!so.... astro.com is accurate
also thanks for pointing out that its north american times....coz i couldnt find anything referring to the time....
So basically i m just gonna do the calculations on astro .com,then use the book for interpretation!
