I'm nervous because I feel like I don't believe in myself enough. I'm afraid of being a failure and afraid I might have to face alot of pressure. I told my mom and she says well you're gonna have to. I was like gee thanks for the support. I told her that I obviously told her that so she could talk to me and make me feel better. The critical virgo rising b*tch mixed with the gemini sun in her sometimes takes over. Then she told me I was a very smart girl and I can accomplish anything.

I spoke to my cappy and he reassured me also.

But I still feel nervous.

And like taurean_scorpion said, if you fail you can always try again. I withdrew from college last fall, and now I'm going back this fall! YAY!

If you do get freaked out by college you can always post to LL about it, I'll be going to college at the same time as you do! But I think you'll do just fine once you get settled in

I'm just afraid of the workload and all that crap. I went to the orientation today and of course dragged my mother along with me. it sucks because until you are the age of 24 and up they will still want to look at your parents taxes. Even if you have declared yourself independant and live alone

I know they will look at my mothers and consider it that she gets paid to good when in reality they don't know nothing at all.

New York City is very expensive now. And the economy sucks.

September 11th changed alot of things. But you know what.....I rather live with things being rough if I had to choose between that and bringing back those people who died.

I decided go to for Digital media Arts. I am good at that. I have done it before. taught myself many programs needed for that major when I was like 15. I do web design also and I enjoyed it alot. It is definitely a great career for me. I'd like to be a musician also LOL.

My cousin has been in aschool for about 3 years studying the same thing. She's also a great artist. She has painted me before and I have always seen her beautiful portfolios.

Such a sweet cancer.

I've just came out of 2 college programs, i ended up leaving halfway throught, for both of them

My mom wasn't vary helpfull she was pushing me insead of being supportive.

i felt as if "no, this isn't for me" while she was making me seam as if i was a failure.

I think media arts are for gem's, just because its never boring, its always fast and exciting.

I'm currently heading in that direction,(sigh...i mean heading back in that direction a second time...) right now, i'm working on getting a diploma in 3D Game Animation.

i've personaly had it with photoshop its just layers, layers, layers to me....

good stuff, do you do texture maping? theres money in it if you do.
