OK now I love my mother to bits, but she has this terrible habit of all talk and no action.

For example, she will convince me that she’ll make some drastic changes in her life - and spend several hours ( no joke ) explaining to me how I should also follow. Now this is all fine and good - but by the next day it’s as if we never had the talk. She does this every time, and I believe her every time - and OMG it is so annoying. She’s been like this throughout my childhood.

I don’t know why, but when she does this it’s very draining…emotionally.

I feel like she’s lying to me, or playing with my emotions. The reason I believe her is because she argues so passionately - she has the ability to control my emotions like no one else. I believe everything she says and have complete faith in her - but then feel like an idiot the next day…for being so gullible. I really dislike it, but when I tell her she gives me that Venus smile, laughs that very innocent laugh…and before I know it, I’ve forgiven her.

But then, another day…another speech. I hurt…she smiles…me forget…and the cycle goes on. She does this with everyone, and everyone believes her.

Is this a Libra trait? Come on…confess your annoying sins Venus people

I am the complete opposite - no talk, all action. Mars in Aries in the twelfth?

I checked her chart ( used to think she had Aries rising - but it turned out to be Gemini my bad )

Sounds like my Libra brother. He's a charmer, but I know him better. When I was in school and he said he would pick me up from school at 6pm, that meant 2am! He has to serve his friends first and keep up his reputation. He does have his good qualities, very generous and open heart. And we do understand each other pretty well, he has a pisces moon like me.

all the aries people i know, do what they say they're going to do. capricorn- also cardinal doesn't seem to have a problem finishing up what they started..

But seriously, I don't believe that this "terrible habit of all talk and no action" is necessarily Libran. I agree with Nove that it could be partly a Cardinal thing -- I know that I'm a great starter but terrible at follow-through. The idea, the organization of resources, getting everything ready for a wonderfully methodical Fixed sign to take over the essential details and finish it -- that's my forte'. But there ARE times when I make promises that I have difficulty keeping.....

I can see the Libran persuasiveness here, and you've observed in the flesh what Linda wrote: "the reason I believe her is because she argues so passionately - and she gives me that Venus smile" -- that's straight out of any Libra Sun interp!

I almost feel some kind of competition vibe going on here (and coming from her).....do you think the "feel like an idiot the next day…for being so gullible" might be a bit of the Plutonian effect you wrote about a couple days ago? "My problem with trust is true, I’ve been building walls around myself since I was a child - with the help from the adults that let me down. I never really thought about it before, but I do have a big problem with trusting people…so I remain very detached. Because if I let my defences down, they have the potential to do some real damage."

Have you confronted Mom about your perception that's she's all talk and no action?

Az when I confront my mum about anything…she just jokes around - she takes nothing seriously. She’s so light and fluffy lol like air…duh she is air - but you know what I mean.

As far as competition goes…there’s nothing like that between us. I’m a fish, we don’t do competition lol

She’s also got the three big charmers - Libra, Pisces and Gemini. No one can say no to her…it’s incredible really - she sweats charm and beauty.
