A quick question… I’m curious…

Why are some people chaging their UserName? Is there any special good reason for it?

WaterNymph was Neptune’s Mermaid…

I assume SecretGarden is now SecretGardenAgain…

Any others?

It’s actually a pity because all we have here are these UserNames… It’s the only reference we have to recognise each other and build a kind of friendship or bond… So if we start changing names, we lose these links, don’t we? Sometimes you start missing someone and you may be talking to them under another name without knowing it!!!

Any reasons for this? I don’t know, maybe some usernames get blocked or you stop liking them… I have also noticed that the number of posts gets reset in some cases…

Just wondering…

We had a glitch that deleted a few names. Other than that, some people just want a change or a better numerological vibration.

Hi steelrose,

I guess I just got bored of mine, plus I love change - five mutable in my chart.
I do miss my old username ( that must sound so weird ) I think I had over 1000 posts.
This is actually weird, why do people miss my username…I haven’t even been here for that long

Also at that time several people were changing their usernames, so I thought I might as well…seeing I’ve been wanting to do it for a little while. I even started a thread to get people to help me pick one - WaterNymph was from Ariestiger

“I'd like to know who is who”
I did put it in my signature to tell those ( who haven’t seen my thread ) who I am - in the beginning.

Be seeing you around

Randall I never thought about numerological vibration, I’ll check mine out.

Thanks WaterNymph!!! I think your new username is beautiful, I even like it more than the old one… But it becomes a bit unsettling because you start missing the track of people you like, that’s all… I remember posting some pics for you in that thread Maya started… You start remembering people and then it’s hard to identify them with their new name, that’s all…

It’s a good idea to put it in your signature…

I checked the numerological vibration and I was pleased to discover that it matched my birth single number and my forename number as well… I suppose I vibrate with the same energy so you get me the way I am…

The number of posts is also confusing because you may think you are dealing with a newby when you are in front of a veteran!!!

I’ll see you around, sweetie! Nice to talk to you!

yeah i was a victim of the glitch, although at that time it seemed like an LL conspiracy to keep me from ever coming back again, I resurrected my username about a million times but could not post So I had to keep trying and finally Im back again,

although Im really paranoid now. Im pretty sure this username is going to go bonkers on me too. Then I dont know what I will do.

*cries in dark corner*

Love

I was involved in TWO glitches!
Hence my few posts.
I know, It must be confusing to some newbies, when I welcome them like a veteran, when I have so few posts and I have technically only been here a month!
Even Ra, who has been here for years ( since like 2001 I think?) Had to reregister!

Thanks for nioticing.
It's funny though because if you look at old threads, I am suspended someowhere with all these posts... but if it is bumped, I am back to my newbie status.

I solved the glitches, so they should never return. *knocks on wood*
