Hi- I'm back in the US after a whirlwind romance that ended on bad terms. It wasn't quite safe to use the computer b/c he had all my frigging passcodes. Negoitiations broke down b/c he didn't want to put me in school. A month after dumping him I figured out exactly where things went off track, and the reason I couldn't get what I wanted from him. Now armed with this new information I wrote him. Here's where astrology comes into it: I'm, heading into SATURN RETURN. AAAggggggggghhhhhhhh! And it's parking its big butt in my *seventh* house where my sun is. Everyone is swearing this means I will meet my future husband during this time. Like, three people have told me this. I was also told the guy I just split with is NOT my future husband. But I aready wrote the him- was this a mistake? Maybe what I figured out was just for me to know for next time and I shouldn't go retrieving what I already threw out. Am I going to be juggling two men for the next year? Until one of them wins out??? Thoughts? IP: Logged |

Hi leyla, Welcome! The Saturn Return has always represented personal growth to me personally. Take a step back, relax and things will turn out the way they will turn out. Enjoy the ride. Predicting who anyone's future husband will be is rather impossible to do, methinks. If you don't love the guy, you shouldn't marry him, I guess. If you do, maybe you could work on the relationship and make it work... I must admit, your terminology confused me a little. You were negotiating a marriage and broke it off because he refused to put you in school?

Alchemiest- You got that right. I'd rather be an educated asset to the familys financial coffers, than an easily replacable dependant. Also,If it's his money, he calls the shots. "He who has the gold makes the rules." Perhaps you haven't heard of this, but in fact, many people use astrology to determine future events (including marriages.) I daresay there's an entire section of astrolgy devoted to this. MoonDuchess-I'm an Aquarius. It's moving off your descendant line and onto my sun. YOU CAN HAVE IT BACK! IP: Logged |

yes indeed there is an entire section of astrology devoted to marriage analysis. It is not a concrete science however. Ultimately, decisions depend on individual actions and not on the stars. Astrology is just a guideline, not a concrete predictionary tool. If you want help with a compatability analysis, please post both your chart details. I can take a look for you (my astrology skills are building =) and I am sure other knowflakes would be willing to as well. As for the school issue, is it that he refuses to pay for you to continue your education, or refuses to allow you to continue your education altogether? If he just doesn't want to pay, maybe you could work something out where he could pay part (if you can't afford to pay for all of it) and you could pay him back later, or something like that. Maybe your parents can help shoulder the costs as well if you cannot pay for it all on your own. If he doesn't want you to study period, then that's a problem, because imo that's controlling behaviour. IP: Logged |

MoonDuchess88- What I mean is, it's moving into my seventh house, and I was born with my natal sun in my seventh house.alchemiest- You would think a man would prefer a woman bringing a good wage into the house rather than a poor wage. In his country education is easily affordable and government subsidized. Even if I did need his assistance it would be quickly recovered by the money I would earn and contribute into joint funds. Expecially if we went in together on a major purchase like a house. IP: Logged |

Leyla,The Saturn (duty, also responsibility) return time is when a person has to grow up and be responsible. Since Saturn is focused in your 7th house (relationships), that means that you have to grow up and be responsible in your relationships...if things aren't right between you and someone else, then do the responsible thing and let them know it. If things don't work out then there are plenty more fish in the sea! While Saturn in the 7th house does not guarantee a marriage, it does indicate a structured, disciplined approach to marriage, if that is what you want. The 7th house is "relationships" (one on one encounters) of all kinds...from the most casual to the most intimate. What you do with this energy is up to you. Remember that the 7th house was also called for a long time "the house of open enemies", so there is also a challenge to 7th house issues. Keep focused on what YOU want to get out of a relationship, create a structured approach to get what you want, and your Saturn return should be a breeze! About the Saturn return, Tim IP: Logged |

Tim- Wow, it is so interesting that you should bring up "a structured, disciplined approach to relationships" because that is exactly the kind of thing I have been studying the past week.IP: Logged |

Leyla,The 29th degree of any planet or point is a "Fate degree" simply meaning it has strong energy. A retrograde planet is one we concentrate more on "getting out" its energy, making it stronger in a chart. So Saturn (duty, also structuring) is VERY strong in your birth chart...but you already KNEW that! Keeping it simple, Tim IP: Logged |

wilsontc: A retrograde planet is one we concentrate more on "getting out" its energy, making it stronger in a chart. What doest that mean? Getting out it's energy? I have three planets in retrograde. Saturn in the 7th house means "no more playing around, time to get down to serious business. The party's over." I understand you're a man and all, so you're going to dig in your heels on this issue. But lets not be silly. Saturn does not mean "Free Love." Saturn is about structure and disciplin. It is not a "one-night-stand" kind of planet. IP: Logged |

Leyla,Let me rephrase that comment. In a birth chart a planet which is retrograde is one which is "held back" in the sense that the energy of that planet is not easy for the person to express. However, BECAUSE the energy is not easy to express, the person tends to work VERY hard on developing that energy. The end result frequently is what started out as a handicap becomes a particular strength and focus of the person. Explaining, Tim IP: Logged | |
