Would anyone be able to offer any info into the different styles of astrology? So far an objective analysis of the different systems house, sidereal etc... has eluded me.

Any facts and/or dispassionate arguments would be greatly appreciated!

I'm not sure I understand exactly what it is you're looking for regarding "objective analysis."

I'm interested in your reply. Depending on what it is you're looking for, I may have a book with some info.

hm, well maybe objective isnt exactly the right word since this is astrology we are talking about... but it seems like people get emotionally attached to their way of doing astrology so ive never heard much but really passionate arguments in defense of that particular style. either that or they say, "I use Koch." PERIOD, no explanation why.

Okay... I see what you're saying. You want concrete reasons why people choose to use one system or another, correct?

I don't know much about house systems, but I tend to avoid equal house because I think it's too simplistic.

So what are all the house systems to begin with...and why are some used in preference over others...

Placidius, Koch, Equal....any others?

And what about different types of composite charts...and how do we know it really signifies how the couple is together?
