Topic: what to do with my life?

hey,hope everyone is well & happy, Im just wondering what on earth to do with my life, I am forever giving up on things just running away from situations and It dose my head In as aries are not ment to be like this maybe its my leo rising that makes me lazy and give up anyway according to astro I am no longer an adolescent and must take my position as an adult!! scary.. I dont know what to do at all. There is far to many things restricting me from ever getting on in life where I am, I love my friends so much but I realise were all bad for each other our lifestyle together mainly consists of partys, clubs, alochol, drugs which are now far to sociably acceptable its nonscence. Its very hard to avoid as it seems everywhere I go no one is normal everyone knows each other who we are ect Its so annoying.. Was thinking I should maybe go to US for 6 months In november but thats just running away soon as I return nothing would have changed, Regardless of all this Its about time I found my own 2 feet I love staying at home, but I feel just feel I should be moving out.. my family are great they will help me get a flat ect but then I'll still be stuck In a city thats really bad for me!! dont get me wrong I do love my life but I hate it too..
I wish I was strong enough to just make everything change and make my life better... As I cant just keep expecting a miricle to happen!! has anybody got any good words of wisdom? xxxIP: Logged |

traveling's not bad..its good for the soul. and for some it's a necessity. i think a lot of us feel it's hard to stay in one place, just move around a bit and explore. lol  if you're not an adolescent anymore i think it's actually good to move out and become more independent. i think the best thing to do in life is do what you love. did your parents ever pressure you into doing something you didn't want to? have a good day xoxo Esther  IP: Logged |

you should travel but i don't know about the U.S. go somewhere like france. or i don't know. somewhere awesome. i've lived in the UK and the US and theyre both messed up...hey maybe it's just human nature, i don't know.IP: Logged |

Hi stephanie ~  to the forum!
Well now, what do you want to be when you grow up?!?  (ie, "what to do with my life")
How old are you? (ie, "no longer an adolescent")
What are you good at in terms of job skills or employment? Wouldn't you feel better about life if you had a career of some sort and your very own money in your very own pocket?
Speaking as a fellow Leo Asc, it will not make you "give up, run away, or be lazy!"
What do you like? What do you hate?
What is "restricting" you where you are?
"Parties, clubs, alcohol and drugs" are the choice of lifestyle for some, but can you afford, physically, mentally, financially and psychically, to continue on this path?
Travel (ie going to the USA) is not generally known as "running away", more like "broadening your horizons" and "gaining life experience".
And last but not least, why do you think you are here on this planet (ie what is your purpose for being alive) ?? Good luck,

I think Aries are supposed to be the great instigators. You guys are supposed to start lots and lots of projects, not necessarily finish them (you need a team).I think the US isn't a bad choice for locations to live for a while, especially as Americans have a fascination for UK accents. It (your accent) may even help you get into far better jobs than even you are qualified for. It's a strange phenomenon, but Americans inherently believe that people brave enough to come here are highly competent. You will likely have to watch out for your own tendencies when it comes to partying, though. ------------------

I would agree that travelling is a great first step... it changes the way you see yourself and will help you move away from other people's conceptions of you that can be so limiting. i can really relate to the whole party thing and wanting to get away from that... just be careful when u do move on, to positively create the circumstances you want rather than just passively allowing the same things to happen, i.e. visualise and affirm the kind of people you want to meet and go where u think you'll find them!
i would recommend europe or england unless u have a major connection to the u.s. - we all have different places we connect to.
and give it time, have patience... and study your chart as much as possible! it will yield more secrets than u could believe.
