Topic: Sun Sign Traits

I am not sure if this is a trait that I have acquired from my chart but...I often times have the tendency, in the begining stages of knowing eachother, to get close to someone and then become distant. I think this is just a way of protecting myself and testing the guy. I think this annoys guys. Then when I feel like getting close again, but the only problem is that the guy is now feeling distant with me. What do you guys think about this? Does this have to do with any of my placements on the chart? Also, does anyone else feel this way? IP: Logged |

ME TOO .. I freakin hate it ... Dealing with Aries who came on sooooooo strong in beginning and then backed away when the fire was out of control leaving me to burn ... Then moves back in for kill ... some people love all the challenge and to see of the person is really in there corner or cares for them ... But I say all that work and energy is silly if 2 people just talk, communicate, let things be known from the beginning so know one is left in dark wondering ...This has happened to me so many times that people wonder why folks get so guarded and can't open up ... People that give too much emotionally too early is a sign of trying to fill mental voids and when it becomes to much they back away, leaving ther other person wondering of more hesitant ... Ive a friend, she is Cancer sun and virgo moon and OMG she is so distant and aloof at times, I think perhaps she doesnt like me - very moody too, I am very warm with her but it is rarely returned, oh well, what can you do? xIP: Logged |

My lil one's dad is like that he is a Virgo, they can go off and retreat or something. With that Gem moon that did not help it a bit. Virgo's are just sometimey especially the guys...IP: Logged |

Almost one year later, I feel the same way. I get close to someone then I back off. AHHH!! drives me nuts. Its a constant struggle. I want my independence but I also like to be attached to those I care about. IP: Logged |

(virgo moon/capi mars/gemini venus) .. at a guess your moon and venus placements .. **Almost one year later, I feel the same way. **
check out what transits you may be having from the outer planets .. as Uranus is currently in Pisces .. could be effecting your moon and venus placements by transiting aspect ( opposition and /or square potentialy) .. .. check what natal placements Uranus may be aspecting in your chart ...
what you described initialy sounds somewhat of a Uranus transit to a personal natal placement ..
actualy reminds me of someone with venus in gem .. ( not nec. a Taur sun sign trait on it's own ) .. HD ..

LighTgrEEn -Perhaps you feel that way because of that Mars in Capricorn. What House is it in? I think what is happening is, you do not yet know what lies ahead. Your Mars requires maturity on your part, and your Venus in Gemini is calling you outside to play. ------------------

This happened to me recently.. the guy I was involved with was all gung-ho at the beginning, then suddenly hid away for a longggg time. It's all over now, but I am still confused and hurt because my feelings were so strong for him.I hate being left in the dark when all you have to live on are tiny moments of happiness. IP: Logged |

LighTgrEEn -I still think it's that Mars in Cap (and in the 10th House? to boot?) It may help to read Linda's books on relationships, and read all you can about how Capricorns and Gemini's get along with each other. Note all the positive's, and bring that understanding to yourself during those confusing times in love. ------------------
