Hi everyone - I am new to this forum. I wonder if anyone could give me info on the traits of a person with gemini moon and mars in leo in their chart. Hi Tranquil Poet, As I am new to this forum, I did not expect such a warm reply to my question. Seriously, though, have you a Mars in Leo or do you know anybody who does and I had an experience one time and found their temper quite frightening. Aries,Gemini modifying Moon and Leo modifying Mars means Gemini (Talking) modifying Moon (emotions) and Leo (self-expression) modifying Mars (action) So this is a person who is an emotional talker and self-expressive in their actions. Exactly how this works for the person can be seen in the houses the planets are in and the aspects the planets make to the rest of the chart. hi ariespink, and welcome.
Mars in Leo and tempers? I don't know, I've known a few people with Mars in Leo and none of them had a real temper. I see that being more of an Aries or Scorio thing- Mars in Aries having the immediate, flaming and quickly cooled temper and Scorpio having the slow-burning sort. And that's from personal experience as well as trusted astrology books. I find Mars in leo to have more pride than anything. Definitely easily hurt and a little possessive. They're good at flirting and seducing, especially through all the old-fashioned ways. I'm talking pebbles thrown at your window at 2am, songs written for you, drawings of you..being spontanous and creative is what they're all about. They're also playful and romantic lovers..and it's been said and I agree that they always need an element of child-like innocence in love and sex. Anyways, I've had nothing but good experiences with them.
But that's just me.

My mother has the opposite of that combination. She has Moon in Leo, and Mars in Gemini.When she gets angry, she starts screaming, throwing things, just causing a general raucus (sp?), making as much noise as she can to let people know she's mad. She also screams to people who aren't really there. Like her sister. Or father. Or just anyone. It's like she's hallucinating or something. Haha, kinda scary. I think that might have something to do with her Pisces rising. Maybe. I dunno, isn't Pisces like the sign of hallucinations? :-P IP: Logged |

I'm not sure if you're still looking for replies, ARIES, but I would like to add something. My dad Has Mars in Leo and I have Mars in cancer. We clashed very badly. He had to do everything he could to not hit me. He screamed though, and it was terrifying. He lost it very quickly, and calmed down quickly too.
He is very dramatic and romantic with his girlfriends, to the point of wierdness, which may be due to some other things in his chart, I don't know. But he leaves flowers in the cars or girls he dates, and some other creepy stuff. LOLIP: Logged |

welcome ARIESPINK-I hope i am not too late to chime in. I have Mars in Leo also sun in leo and temper umm yeah. I definitely do but it is slow to rise. But when i do Watch out! I read a Stephen Arroyo book (love him) that nailed it for Mars in Leo for women as one of the most sexual and also temper can be quite explosive. It really did not go into the male as much but i imagine much the same. Also I find house position of Mars will be very illuminating. If in a 12th house they would probably hide anger for a while or if first house probably very social and driven/ambitious outwardly. so consider that as well. I guess I'm a bit late to this post, as well  I have Mars in Leo and a Gemini Sun.... I have to agree with Ladya22, with the exception of a "... slow to rise", temper. I have a temper that is void of a fuse... I think that may be due to Mars, being in an intercepted 9th house, making an, almost exact, square to my 12th house Scorpio Uranus. I'm still learning astrology but, I think that my Moon in Pisces and, 4th house, is what brings forth my explosions... the motivating factors. Although my temper is quick, it is deep within and, therefor, very difficult to set off..... thankfully

Hi Ayumi, Ladya22 and Geminstone, thank you so much for such brill information. When I read the info on Mars in Leo and Mars in Cancer, it was so true to what I knew of these signs, it was great. Ladya22 - what was the name of the book by Stephen Arroyo, would love to buy it. Could you let me know. I am into Astrology in a big way, love reading books on said subject.
