I noticed something kinda interesting.. The people whose charts I've done..friends and familly..have mostly water moons, a few have earth and very few air..but NO fire, only one person has a fire moon and I haven't known them for that long..I wonder why that is.. i don't know any fire moons lol weird.. I have a Capricorn moon Do certain moon signs attract other moon signs? The one person I know with a fire moon, leo makes me very optimistic and lifts my spirits more than any of the other ppl I know..wonder why I haven't met more Have a look at the closest ppl to you, or people whose charts you know.. is there a trend with the moon sign elements? Post your moon as well.. PS the other weird thing is, I don't really mash with scorp and cancer moons too well.. but I meet more of them than anything else. In the beggining it seems fine and we get along, then differences come to surface.. specially with cancer moons.. What was a nice friendship feeling turns into this awkward pleasantry type feeling..where you don't really get or really like the other person any longer, but you still act nice anyways (real unspoken friction there) I find that they are a lot more expressive emotionally. In fact they constantly express emotion about one thing or another.. Sometimes I see this as attention seeking, other times I see it as fake..in that posh kinda way.. that *kiss* *kiss* (in the air) *hug* *hug* type of thing when it's just not real emotion or what I see as 'real emotion'. The thing is, maybe water moons Do express REAL emotion..but from my own Cappy moon point of view I might just perceive it as fake.. because i don't throw hugs and kisses around for no reason unless I actually MEAN it.. Water moons seem (to me) to find it easy to be very emotional and say things like "i love you" 'sweety, baby, honey etc etc" to everyone..ppl they're close to, ppl they're not close to..when they mean it and when they don't..even when they actually dislike the person.. so I look at that and put the label "fake" on it..so I think that's where the friendship between us ends..and we start acting colder.. maybe from their point of view I'm TOO non forthcoming emotionally.. Either way.. I have a lot of these moons in my life.. maybe there's something I need to learn from them..like how to express emotion more.. i'm not sure.. it's just it's hard for me to take that in and learn something from it when I see it as so fake and attention seeking. Mentally, if I detach.. I can see the good in being that emotional..but REALLY from a more personal point of view I can't see the good in it at all and my first reaction is wtf lol OK, sorry to rant.. I'd still like everyone to post their moons..and see if there's a patern with ppl they know's moons.. or if you have a water moon and you care to elaborate or explain things from your point of view..I think I'd find that interesting Thanks IP: Logged |

Hmm...I dunno. I have a Sagittarius Moon, and of my best friends, two have Libra Moons, and the other has an Aquarius moon. Yay for sextiles? :-PBut seriously, I tend to only really get a long well with Air Moons. With other Fire Moons, we're constantly competing, and there's always friction...but never in the good way. I can't handle the sensitivity of water moons. Everytime a problem comes up, I just try to play it off as a joke, because I don't want to think about it. Hahaha, they don't like that, do they? :-P All the people with Earth Moons that I know constantly try to "fix" me. That annoys the living hell out of me, so I try to associate with them the least. Air Moons are the easiest to get along with, for me. Especially Libra. Dunno why, though. IP: Logged |

I have an Aqua moon...My best friend is an aqua with a taurus moon, exactly square to mine. I know a few Cancer and Pisces Mooners. I've been thinking people with fixed moons are harder to communicate with. My whole family has fixed moons, and we're all way too stubborn to respond to eachother naturally and spontaneously. But maybe thats just a family thing. IP: Logged |

Hmm...is it odd that all my friends have Water sun/Air moon? :-PI just noticed that. Hahahahaha quote: I've been thinking people with fixed moons are harder to communicate with. Haha, maybe! But my mother has a Leo Moon, and there's really no getting through to the woman. :-P IP: Logged |

lol Nove.. isn't that strange? Mine is mainly water/earth I wanna meet more fire and air moons lol.. I know what you mean with earth moons trying to fix you. I'm a bit like that, only I'm not trying to fix.. I'm trying to help and usually it's because I'm worried about the person, but it comes accross as criticizing sometimes. Then I get annoyed at myself for doing that lol HSC, do you get along with Leo moons..if you know any?

Heh, it seems to me like there was this freakish occurance on April 6th, 1990 in Nashville, Tennessee. I swear half the population of my class was born. They all have Virgo Moons. It's quite frustrating. :-P Honestly, though, I don't really know that many Water Moons. Actually...I only know four. And they all irritate me beyond belief. I. Don't. Do. Clingy. My Sag. Moon would rather DIE..... But I have noticed that all my close friends have the Water Sun/Air moon combo. It's weird. Haha, They're all extremely different from me, though. It's odd. quote:

my best friend, a sag, has a virgo moon like me, but not sure which house its in. I think because of my 8th house placement, it is the reason I get along easily w/ scorpio moons. Actually maybe water moons in general. My love interest has a pisces moon, teaching me some lessons much? He had insights into my nature that NOBODY should have, cant wait to see him . Being a moody person, I really can't handle fire moons, too bossy for me.Air moons, hmmm, I knew this cancer w/ a libra moon I used to be friends w/, she was a FLAKE. But I like aqua moons, they tend to be moody too , so we understand eachother *edit me sun-cancer moon-virgo/8th housesister sun-pisces moon-gemini/8th house best friend sun-sag moon virgo(not sure of the placement but I would say 9th, because she does like to travel, doesnt like to stay in the house, this would make her an early degree cappy rising which also makes sense) love interest sun-scorpio moon-pisces(the insights he had into my nature, scared the sh!t out of me when we first met) another friend sun-taurus moon-scorpio another friend sun-sag moon-aqua

Heh, I never really thought about the house placement. My moon is in the 3rd House, and my Sun is very nearly in the 8th (only in the 7th by 13 minutes! In most house systems, it is in the 8th house). Maybe that's why it works out that way? HahahaIP: Logged |

I'm a Leo moon but most of the people in my life have earth moons, especially Capricorn. I have this scary/confusing/amazing connection to them, it's really weird. My best friend (Leo w/Cappy moon) tells me that she thinks it's because my emotions, although kept well hidden, are so flamboyant and powerful that she thinks it balances her "lack of emotions". The only problem with that theory is that I see no lack of emotions in her, she's just guarded. But whatever it is, there's some powerful pull with me and Cappy moons...and I seem to meet and make friends with new ones just about every week. I have very little earth in my chart, but my moon is in the 10th house, which supports the house placement theory. IP: Logged |

I'm a Pisces moon, and so are two of my brothers and I would say we undestand each other without words pretty well. One of my brothers has had a few dreams about me...of which came true. Have two Taurus moon sisters who are close to each other.Does the moon sign you are born with have anything to do with your mother? Like perhaps the state of your mother during pregnancy? Have to look into my friends moon signs, and tally everything up before I make any judgments there IP: Logged |

My moon is in Leo and I know very few people with a fire moon, and even less with a Leo one. Come to think of it, I don't know ANYONE with a Leo Moon - weird. It seems like most people I know have an air or earth moon. Both of my parents' moons are air (dad - Aquarius, mom - Libra). And even the men I always like seem to have an earth or air moon. In fact, Mr. Aries moon is in Libra. I feel all alone in my Leo Moon-ness. lol IP: Logged |

Interesting! This should be fun...Me Water (Specifically, Cancer) Hubby Air Oldest Daughter Air Youngest Daughter Water Mom Water Dad Fire Dear friend 1 Water Dear friend 2 Air Dear friend 3 Earth Sister in law/Dear friend Air All of the Air people are Libra Mooners. I do those Libra Mooners. My Water Moon By LibraSparkle I love my Water Moon. And, yes... I do say things like "I love you" to my friends. I give them kisses and hugs... call them sweetie pie and other things. I don't really use affectionate words toward people I don't care for... unless I'm being sarcastic . I don't have a lot of Water in my chart. The only other influence is Uranus in Scorp 6th Hs. My chart is listed in my album in the LL Photoshop, if you're interested in having a peek. Anyhoo... I do fit your description of Water Mooners pretty well. Where I don't fit is probably because my chart is pretty much dominated by Air, followed by Fire, little sprinkling of Water, and no Earth.

My husband and I, one of our best friends( the one who got us together) all have Capricorn Moons. Between about six people, close group of friends, and our prospective offspring.. there are myriad repeats in charts. All relate some way, sameo nes over and over.. various positions and interactions. It's quite interesting. Also, of that group, The men are Leo, Sag and Aries... a perfect grand trine relationship in action, and they were all about action, too! I am a Scorpio, and my other female friend is a Taurus.IP: Logged |

Moonduchess, I like the house idea.. except I'm not sure it works for me. My moon's in the 8th as well.. and actually it's a bit strange because if I really think bk on experiences I've had with all these ppl, there IS good as well as bad, and I don't mind them, some I like more than others (but that's always gona happen, there's always gona be ppl you get along with better) . My granma was Libra/Scorp..so she had a scorpio moon and I was very close to her. I think maybe I have strong reactions to Scorpio moon..either very good or very bad. When it's good, I feel close to them and I feel like we understand each other and that we've had similar 'bad' experiences, which creates a bond, they're intense in a similar way.. When I don't get along with them, it's because I know they are intense and I sense that and I understand them..but their intensity is very different to my own. Mine's stable, grounded, dependable.. Theirs seems kinda sneaky and mysterious and untrustable to me.. lol does that even make sense? Mutable, lol you've got all elements there but mainly fire/air..makes sense since your moon's fire. I'm jealous , send some of your firey mooners over heehee Whiterabbit, I mentioned my leo moon friend to you before. It's similar because your friend is a Leo/Cap so sun's are opposed.. you're the air sign and have a leo moon, she's the fire sign and has an earth moon.. That's the same with me, aries/cap and him libra/leo.. only he's not my *best* friend lol but he really cheers me up.. can't believe he's the only fire sign moon I've come accross. About -lack of emotions- I think you're right because I have a lot of emotions, but i don't feel comfortable expressing them to others.. unless i consciously make myself express them (when I think I should).. whether it's anger, sadness, anything.. DD, yes it does have to do with your mother.. but it's not always a clear link.. like in Moonduchess' example. I'm Aries/Cap/Gem.. My mum is Leo/Gem/Virgo (Ithink..not totally sure about asc).. I don't think my mum's similar to me at all actually but we do get along and I CAN see how she contributed to my cappy moon qualities/shortcomings.. She's very very career oriented and nearly always talks about something career related and part of me feels like apart from the fact that I actually "want" a career i also HAVE TO have one..because otherwise it'd kill her ..ok maybe that's a bit drastic, but she'd feel very bad about that.. not to say that I'm doing it for her..no way. I want it myself BUT there's also that in the back of my mind. LibraSparkle, you're beautiful and seem like someone who has a lot of character to me. I hope what I said before didn't sound like 'cancer moons = no good for me" . I know 2 cancer moon ppl..Gemini and Sag who I get along with. the Gemini i've been friends with for a while and I've never had those probs.. the sag, i'm not sure.. he's a nice guy BUT I could see that coming..us not getting along in the future.. but i've had some very bad experiences with a few cancer mooners..if I go into it it's gona sound like I'm bagging lol..and i don't wanna bag. I can't blame that on their moon though. i think it's a matter of every sign having positive and negative qualities.. It's a matter of what you express.. hugging your friends or telling them you love them is a positive but going arround telling everyone you love them constantly, then talking about them behind their backs, that's taking it to an extreme and it's something I don't like.. they really stirred some kinda dramas with lies and overly emotional dramatic behaviour.. the ones I didn't get along with.. This was at my school mainly. Pixie, I only know one other Cap moon person and that's my bf .. I like that moon conjunction

Hey Sweetie (**snicker**),Nah... I'm pretty sure you and I aren't going to have issues. I tend to get along famously with Aries folk. Opposites attract, right? Most of the Aries people I know have a delicious silly side that I LOVE. They don't always have that side on public display... but its there, waiting to come out and play. hehe... I love it! Funny that we're meant to argue and debate so much.. it's never something I found irritating, usually we just laugh it off and forget it when we disagree on something..but maybe it's also because mars/venus are pretty in tune with each other My bf's a Libra.. *we're* in tune hehe IP: Logged |

I know a lot of people with Aquarius Moons...and incidentally am very often drawn to Aquarius sun signs. In many ways they seem similar to Pisces (my sun sign) on the surface.. until u know them better! With Aquarius moons, I find I'm drawn in but sooner or later reach the BRICK WALL. But they tend to stick around for some reason...IP: Logged |

i'm a leo moon and alllll my friends tend to be either Taurus/Libra or Aquarius moons. It's pretty odd. Dating wise, every bf ive had has been an Aquarius moon and theyve always been the bfs you are friends with then date, then become friends again. My best girl friend is a Cancer with a Taurus moon, two of my best guy friends both have Libra Moons (an aries and a pisces)... I have other friends with other moons like virgo and scorpio and pisces, and I feel like i always have to walk on my toes with them. while when i'm around the other three, i can be my self and just say whatever i want...
