Hi to everyone, I am very new indeed to astrology and
I happened to come accross a Pisces reading by Linda
Goodman which I find to be fairly accurate description
of myself, though I am confused withe the whole fish
swimming upstream and downstream. It almost seems as
if Pisces are deemed to a life of going downstream
with the flow living lives in jobs we dispise and are
bored at but dreaming away our time. How can this
change? At 28 is it too late to swim upstream and what
is there if I do?

Welcome!

to the forum, gaz!

"Doomed to a life of going downstream with the flow" ?? No way! It's never too late, ever!! I am only a Pisces Moon, not Sun, but you have plenty of Piscean energy to tackle the upstream swimming. Start slow, you need to strengthen your muscles for the rapids you will encounter upstream.

Have you done your chart at www.astro.com yet? Here is a start:

Please go to www.astro.com. Right under the “Astrodienst Astro.com” in the blue title bar is a section called "Free Horoscopes", click on that. Under "Please select your free horoscope" choose the section headed in gray called "Horoscope Chart Drawings" and pick "Extended Chart Selection". Click on "Add a New Person" and set yourself up. Then under "please select the type of chart you want" drop-down box, choose "natal chart wheel" and click on the "click here to show the chart" button.
Once you've run that you'll have all your planetary positions (and a nice picture!).
At the "Horoscope Home" page, you can now click on "Portrait" under Astrodienst Free Horoscopes" in red. Down at the bottom of your "Short Report - Personal Portrait" is the text listing of all your planetary and house positions. Copy and paste that into here and we can begin our conversations!

Happy Explorations!

No way is it too late.

I’m a Piscean, but I’m not quite sure what swimming upstream is. I’m guessing it’s either 1) To follow my dream regardless of what, and do what makes me happy, or 2) to try to grow spiritually. Like Linda wrote…to learn that love ( and compassion ) is all.
Probably both.

I’m still learning tho

gaz,

This is your "Saturn return" time. It is a special time of learning when a person's birth planet comes around until it is in the exact position it was at their birth. When this occurs, it is a time to learn about (and be tested on) the energy of that planet. Your Saturn (duty, also career) was at 10 degrees Leo at your birth and in a few months will be again at 10 degrees Leo.

The Saturn return time is a time when we have to grow up, take responsibility for our lives and finally become an adult. At this time we will be rewarded for all the responsibilities we have been taken in our lives and have to face the consequences of all the things we have not taken our fare share of responsibility for. This is also a time when we need to find out WHAT, exactly, it is we "should" be doing.

To help you out with that, it is VERY useful to learn astrology. Astrology is a simple, easy to use system that will help you understand the various skills and talents you have and give you ideas about how to use those energies. To learn astrological chart interpretation in six steps, go to: http://www.geocities.com/wilsontctc

Here, however, is something which is NOT included on the site. You have

Libra modifying North node focused in the 5th house near the 4th house

which is

Libra (relationships) modifying North node (future goals) focused in the 5th house (self-expression) near the 4th house (home, also emotions)

so your goal in life is to be in relationships which help you to emotionally express yourself. Now take a look at your chart and see how you can use your chart energy to help you achieve this goal!

Encouraging the growing process,

Tim
