hi guys i know mars rule that department but i wondered how does it affect u overall when it comes to religious believes and values and that what makes us feel safe wouldnt it be better to take it all into consideration dunno if its a transit sure its cause im getting older but ive been wondering about what im really comfortable with in that department in my life would u guys say its just mars or is there actually another planet that has more control over your approach to what you'll be comfortable with?

Hello Gemini Girl- Can only speak for my self and my own chart here.

Growing up in a very strict Baptist fammly, I remember feeling alot of guilt as a younger child,teen, about my sexual desires, fantasys and such,,, besides the fact that I was always told even entertaining ideas of sex before mairage was a sin itself... The crazy fantasys and desires I had would have been considerd something to "send me to hell" even after being mairied.

My Mars is in not only Aquarius, but also the 11th house ! A very unique, open minded, almost anything can go, and explorative , easily summed up as "excesivly kinky "placement to have Mars. Not to mention the 11th house its in probably enhances my pleasures to see what happens when multible sex partners are in the same room at once !

Yet I never had a desire to **** off Creation, or be one of his condemed sinners. Im very glad that I went with my feelings as much as I could then, that these preachers and bible chuckers where the last peaple that had any buisness trying to tell the congregations what God is, and what he realy is about.

Without astrology at the time in my life I found it,,, I would probably still be going through alot of guilt issues, Aquarius Sun or not.

Hmm...My Mars is in Aquarius in the 5th, and personally, I usually just try to avoid the topic of sex all together. It makes me pretty damn uncomfortable. I'd rather pretend it just didn't exist. :-/

As did I. Was once very very uncomfortable with the idea of anyone knowing the crazy things going on in the back of my mind.

Being an Aquarian Sun, I then had a few more rebeleous streaks, and got tired of me being afraid, when it is those who would judge me that are realy running on fear... So now I am more in their face about it, and sit back and laugh when they do indeed show what scardy cats they all can be .

nothing gives me better kicks then hearing "did he realy just say, or admit that ?"

Acoustic- Yeah 11th house is freindships in general,,, and a few other Aqua traits. Perhaps why when Im shoping for just some "meat" so to say , even then I try and establish some sorta freindly , honest sorta ground before I start to "move in " , or lay back and allow any seduction of my self to begin.

Cancer is Fourth house matters.
Leos natural place is the fifth, which makes sense in terms of what the houses represent....
An easier way to remember is think of the natural zodiac, the rulers,(and they are always fixed in position, counter clockwise) etc.. (Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo etc... and then number them, and that's the house they reside in and rule, with their ruling planet.

Re; Mars, I think attitudes toward sex do become more whole and healthy as you grow. Therer is a comfort with the idea, and the act in relation to your body and mind.. not as a tool, but as a way of integrating that spark inside and using it with joy, instead of shame.

Quite possibly. With my Chart ruler in the 8th house, I wouldn't doubt it. But at the same time - I have Capricorn on the 5th. It's so conservative. Example being, if I even hear about sex in biology, my face goes red as an apple.

I don't want to turn this into an "I am looking down on you ' thread, as I don't mean it like that, but I am recalling my own attitudes toward the exciting, yet unknown.
Sometimes it still makes my face red.
So I just talk about it more.

But seriously, it comes with time and exposure.
Like, learning about anything.. sex is a very important part of life. Not THE most important, but I mean.. it's up there.. people write poems about it, leave marriages, hurt people, I mean, without it, it'd be very hard to survive as a species ( biologically, of course)
It brings us together and gives us something sacred to feel. And share with another.
It's not just about feeling good either... it is an experience.
Attitudes about anything evolve as you grow.
Same with sex.

I'm a Cap who, while gorgeous growing up (southern Californian, tall, blond water polo player), didn't have sex until I was 20. I didn't begin to enjoy it until I was in my 30's, so...attitudes change...and I reveal probably more than I should.

Acctually, I don't think about sex that much believe it, or not. I mean, of course I do sometimes, but my outlook on love, and sex is more reflectant of my Virgo Sun, and Aquarius ASC.

well heres my aspects lol a mars+merc conjunct 8th house in cancer they trine pluto scorpio 12th house which trines my juno pisces 4th house my moon and rising are scorpio i think about sex pretty much all the time lol sometimes i feel like i shouldve been a guy glad im not i wouldve been a mean one lol anyway reason i posted this is my sex drive hit a major low lol since im so young dunno if i can call it that but hey ive got hormones so maybe its that but its more like my whole approach and i feel like so o holy art thou which is something ive been against my whole life if u feel act on it thats my motto just for the record sure none of u wanted to know all that but since i mostly look to the stars was interested to see what u guys think any how its not about point of view to me so much id like it more focused on the astro but of course all have the opinions so thanx guys

About Mars... I have mine in the 7th house - aries.. Sex for me is about having fun, but also about power between two people. I hope to get love and sex to be more connected, but actually I prefer the two things seperated. Not completely, but sex for me is very much physical, and not emotional. I expect both needs to be satisfied by one person, but definitely not at the same time...
