Topic: Thinking it's thee Cancer influence..(?)

Hi all,I am having some slight trouble with my Gemini. He gets very frustrated with me when I don't tell him things. It could be something personal or it could just be some silly story I don't want to tell him that exact moment....well, he CANNOT stand it apparently. I keep telling him it has nothing to do with him, it's me. I say I just don't want to tell him right now and he should drop it. He gets really annoyed. It's not that I do not want to tell him EVER, it's that I don't feel comfortable telling him every little detail about my life in 2 hours like he does.
It seems to always come up as something he gets really bothered by, but I don't see the big deal (because I know I will eventually be able to open up completely).
He doesn't understand that it is how I am with everyone. I have been thinking it is my protective Venus in Cancer that holds me back the most. Maybe it has to do with a combination of influences,(like my Taurus Moon, Mercury and ASC in Virgo or Mars in Scorpio) but since Venus does represent how you give and recieve love it makes sense. Oh great, I just thought about my North Node being in Cancer too, that helps...lol!
I guess he's pretty wonderful for putting up with me--but at the same time I think he wants to rush everything. He thinks by a certain time everything should be peachy-keen. No so for me. Intimacy takes time. *sigh* Whatever. I don't know what to do! What am I doing wrong? Does anyone else have strong Cancer influuence (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, or ASC) who can relate? Or is it just me? How should I go about it? I would love any advice anyone can give.

Your venus in cancer represents what you want: someone that's nurturing and caring and you yourself deeply care about your family and personal issues and feel uncomfotable if someone doesn't give you enough time to explain them. Esp. with your moon in taurus you don't like to be rushed. With his sun, moon, and mercury in gemini makes him VERY geminian and likes to communicate and he may not have the patience like you do, with your sun in leo, and moon in taurus, both fixed signs. I can relate to you about the cancer influence...when you have a good amount of water signs like i do then it would make you emotionally vulnerable and need to time to get used to new relationships and environments. I think emotional people take a while to really open up to ppl but once they do they are devoted to their loved ones...i hope he understands that. esther, thank you so much...I'm guessing you are a taurus with scorpio moon and/or rising perhaps? no wonder you understand! I am hoping that he will understand..he takes things too personally. thanks again..xxoo happy dragon,

It could be something personal or it could just be some silly story I don't want to tell him that exact moment....well, he CANNOT stand it apparently.*** .. it was only a quik thought when i saw your post ( be late here at moment ) .. but it was along the lines that .. pluto in a sense 'has to know' .. has to get to the bottom of things .. its a bit of a mistake maybe just to check one aspect of one chart .. it just rang a bell but its from being around a couple of close friends .. pluto to merc features strongly in their charts .. it be the 'digging for answers' .. dunno .. it was just a thought to stick on the plate .. maybe it needs a couple of jalepeno's to spice it up .. maybe Sat / Sun in his chrt plays a part in that as well .. a bit of frustration / impatience ..
.. i could be way off mark .. see what kf's may have to say .. .. its a bit clearer to look at the zodiac chart .. and get the whole pic .. 'later

The problem with Gemini is that often love is based on verbal communication. Some people thrive on having their hand held, or making love for hours on end. And then there's Gemini! You sharing very jot and tittle, the minutae of your mind---when they want, well that's love baby...LOL. There's a juvenile sweetness about that talking, but it is not that pleasant for a quieter, more private person. I would think with your Cancer and Scorpio placements, that talking and that demand for talking might be truly irksome. You both have different needs there--maybe a little half way meeting would help. Certainly feeling bad is not the solution. You are who you are. The issue is can you two ease to the middle.
