Haha, does anyone know how certain planets in aspect to the ascendant have an effect on the physical appearance? Like for instance, I have my Moon sextile my Ascendant, and Saturn trine my ascendant.And also, the Tenth house represents your reputation, right? So is the sign on the tenth house how people actually see you/your personality? IP: Logged |

hi nove731, i've got some aspects to the ascendant too: sun sextile ascendant, Jupiter Sextile Ascendant, Saturn Opposition Ascendant, Neptune Opposition Ascendant, Pluto Trine Ascendant, although i'm not sure what they mean...i think my sun sextile ascendant makes me look very taurean...people say i look like a taurus so. I'm a taurus with scorpio moon and cancer rising...i've got mars in aquarius in the 10th house, so does that means people think of me as independent and eccentric?? IP: Logged |

Hi,
I have venus conjunct ascendant, it's supposed to give you a natural attractiveness and magnetism. I've found it's true, some people are drawn to me without any effort on my part. I also have pluto square and uranus trine ascendant, but can't think of any way those aspects would add to or detract from my appearance. The 10th house is how other's perceive you. I have Mars (in Pisces) in the 10th squaring my ascendant, this aspect has given me a very strong drive in everything, plus a lot of speculation about my love/sex life from everyone (coworkers, lovers, family, etc.), and a bit of a temper. Mars also sextiles my Sun and trines my moon, but I believe this gives more of an inner strength as opposed to a visible physical difference. P.S. with Saturn sextiling Ascendant I would speculate you probably looked older than your age growing up. Maybe even carried a lot of responsibilty in your family. If that's true, have you found that now you are older, you look younger than your current true age? IP: Logged |

I have Saturn trine my ascendant. Haha, it depends on how my hair is, when it comes to how old I look. Examples:
Me about three weeks ago:
Me about six months ago: I'm fifteen. :-P

Hmm...I have my Midheaven at 26 degrees Gemini, and then have the last 3 degrees of Gemini, and the first 29 degrees of Cancer in my 10th house. :-P And I have Jupiter in Cancer conjunct my Midheaven in Gemini. IP: Logged |

Mercury Trine Ascendant
People tell me that I look young for my age,I'm about to finish college,some people think I'm just going to start,I guess the mercury trine is more powerful than the saturn conj,and I'm pretty big built(6'3  )...maybe that has something to do with jupiter squaring my asc....

I would have never guessed you were 15. Since you are young, Saturn maybe expressing itself as mental maturity.

I'm not sure exactly what degree my ascendant is in because I don't know my precise birthtime. But with the time I go with, I have Sun, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn, Moon, and Pluto aspecting my Ascendent...well according to astro.com. And I have Sun, Mars, and Mercury all in Aquarius in the 10th house, with my 10th house cusp in Capricorn. t_s...Mars in the 10th house can make you appear more forward and aggressive at times, adn it also denotes athleticism, and a strong drive to get ahead in your career. I look about 5 years younger than I am... Im in my early twenties but my younger brother whom is 17 looks older than me! I cant get into an 18's movie at the cinema without ID lol...I dont mind of course, Its great to look much younger than you really are in my opinion  I have my Sun & Mercury in Pisces, 4th House Trine my ASC/Scorpio! I have sun opposed ascendant would make me look libran but Ive stayed true to both my cancer sun and my cappy rising. From my cancer sun I get the large eyes and cheeks and...ughh...boobs. From my cappy rising I get my jet black hair and I do happen to be the darkerskinned than the rest of my family. I'm only 5"4", been that way since the 8th grade
Oh yeah, and I used to be able to get into R-rated movies when I was 14-16 yrs old cause I looked old for my age. I guess now the reverse is true, I get carded ALOT.(Damn my cappy rising!! )IP: Logged |

moon sq ascI am really not sure how these affect my apperance.I had a professional astrologer tell me i seemed like a cancer to her so maybe the moon wins out, i have some other hard aspects to my moon as well so thay might be why. These are the only aspects to my Asc.:Sun (Taurus, 4th) Trine Asc. (Capricorn)
Mars (Capricorn, 12th) Conjunct Asc. Aspects to my MC: MC's in Scorpio (no actual planets in the house)
Sun Opposition MC
Venus (Gemini, 5th) Quincunx MC
Mars Sextile MC
Jupiter (Pisces, 2nd) Trine MC
