Hi All,What does it mean when you have your planet in the house of the opposite sign. (eg. Mars in Scorpio in the 2nd house)?? What if you have a few planets like this in your chart? does it have a special meaning? Would this be considered an easy or difficult placement? What are the ramifications? Thanks ! Libra,When you have your planet in the house of the opposite sign, it indicates that the planets energy is challenged by the house focus it is in. If the planet and house struggle for power over the other, it can create an issue for the person. On the other hand, if the planet and house can "come to terms" and agree to get along as best they can, the person can take bring a new perspective to their house focus. Explaining, Tim IP: Logged |

Thanks for the response... I have a handful of these 'oppositions': Sun in Libra (1st house) Pluto in Libra (1st house) Mars in Scorpio (2nd house) Uranus in Scorpio (2nd house) Saturn in virgo (12th house) Jupiter in leo (11th house) Neptune in sag (3rd house) I have never really understood how this would all play out overall- very curious...IP: Logged |

hi libra78! i have a very libran answer for you in regard to oppositions. they will either make you feel torn between one extreeme or the other (goin from one sign then to the other). OR, on a positive note, they will make you feel the balance between the 2 signs so that your are a perfect blend if you will. being that you have a libra sun, always striving for that balance of "walking the razors edge" i don't see much of a problem at all ever the optimist, Hexx ------------------ ~Libra Sun / Cancer Rising / Aquarius Moon~ IP: Logged |
