Hello all,

Just starting out with astrology and am reading about Nodes - have done charts over at astro.com but can't seem to find the South node?? Is it called something else on their charts or do I have to select it somewhere in the extended chart section??

Many thanks,
Sarah xx

The South Node is opposite the North Node. Often it doesn't get listed. So if North Node is 5 degrees Aries, South Node will be 5 degrees Libra.

Thank you for that

Now, is the North node different to the True Node and/or the Mean node?

Doesn't seem to say North Node on astro.com - just lists True and Mean.

Will get there one day!

Thank you for your warm welcomes Wish I knew how to access these clever icons.

My ephemeris(Rosicrucian) lists the true node. And that's all I can share on that one

devi,

You can click on the "edit" button above a post and it will bring up the text box. In the text box you can see the URL or shortcut of how to make the icon. LL has a list of the icons you can use with colons, just go to the faq's -- here's the address of LL icons..... http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/smilies.html

If you want to post a picture from the web in here, right-click on the pic, choose "Properties", highlight the address (I think it needs to be a .jpg or .gif file extension) and copy paste it into the LL text box between these tags: .

Have fun expressing yourself!
