Topic: Bit of an identity crisis........ what is my Ascendant??? Help! Please!

Even though I've known my chart for about a year now, and I'm sure I've asked this before. I'm still having problems with my Ascendant.  As far as I know, my birth time is 7th September 1990, at 16:10 in kent, england. The first time I did my chart, it said I was Cappy Ascendant. The next couple of times it said Aquarius. And it pretty much varies on different sites.
Somehow, I just really *can't* believe I'd be an Aqua rising. Plus, it would change which houses my planets would be in and they seem to feel right where they are now!
Can someone check for me? Please? I need to stop worrying.  Thanks  IP: Logged |

Looks like Cappy to me, TMNF.....  If Aqua doesn't "feel" right, then it probably isn't! I'm a cusp baby too -- my Asc is around 29 Leo (don't have exact birth time). I ran charts for birth-times of every five minutes between 1:00 and 2:00am, and the only one that "felt" right was 1:40 because that way I ended up with the Leo Asc (which I'm sure from my mane and personality is correct -- I'm just not a Virgo Rising!) and because Mars "felt" like it was in my 1st house, not my 2nd house -- so essentially I "backed into" my "proper" birth time..... Hmmm...wierd. Well, if you're a Cap rising, then you have a busy 1st house. If an Aqua rising, you wouldn't. The question I'd pose in not which ascendant feel right, but which 1st house? I had a similar bit of confusion once - I thought I had Libra rising, which put my Pluto and Uranus in the 12th, and that just didn't feel right at all. When i got a hold of my birth certificate, I discovered the error and voila! I did in fact have Pluto rising with Uranus alsoin teh 1st. That definitely fits me better. IP: Logged |

TmnF,Its all up to how you feel,if u feel like an aqua and not cap or vice versa then thats what it is,My asc is the exact same way I have 29Sag rising and i persaonally feel like a sag more that a cap, But i still have three other planets in my 1st house(Uranus,Neptune,Saturn)ohh..wait a min...You have those planets 2...heyy how cool!!! I got Capricorn too....and WOW do you have a LOT of earth...can you say "grounded"?

LOL I've just realised how much of an idiot I am.First, THANKS EVERYONE! 
Second off, I've made a huge mistake....
Just as I was beginning to relax resting assured I was a Cappy ascendant... I've only just realised I've given the wrong time.
16:10 is what I put in astro.com because it's an hour earlier and makes my placements 'seem' right. I'm not sure whether my Mum has just misremembered my birthtime, but she's a Virgo and I wouldn't expect her to make that kind of mistake! So sadly, my proper birthtime (apparently) is 17:10. Which I think eould seriously mess with my chart and it JUST DOESN'T FIGURE!! Can someone (sorry) please check again, or can anyone describe what an Aqua rising is meant to be like so I can see whether I identify with the description or not? I can be a bit dippy sometimes, but I don't generally click especially with Aquas and I'm not really sure what Aqua Asc. is meant to be like.
Plus, I'd rather be a Cappy rising. IP: Logged |

Hello Mutable, I checked and your asc is STILL Cap!Lol. Except now Uranus and Neptune is in the 12th....and the moon is in the 2nd house.
