Twice this weekend I have responded to a poster's question with answer and links; both times they have disappeared. I posted an answer about the Tauris Moon Singleton. Now it's gone. What's going on? I thought it was my machine but I refreshed the cache and the problem persists. What? Now it's back with the one in between gone?? IP: Logged |

Yes, that happens from time to time, and sometimes it feels like it's linked to you and you wonder what's up, but it's really nothing at all...some weird glitch. IP: Logged |

You need to clean out your computer's cache.------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. I always clean mine out (very vigiliant about that) and sometimes that actually does not work, at least not immediately. Mercury in Retrograde!!!!!IP: Logged |

I also find when I reply it does not appear straight away because the page is not refreshed. I refresh the page, and it updates, and everything is normal once again. Sometimes the pages refresh automatically and you don't need to refresh it yourself. geminirising26 -Are you using Windows? TOOLS INTERNET OPTIONS DELETE COOKIES and CLEAR HISTORY I've noticed if I'm in AOL mode, I've had trouble clearing the cache this way and have to reboot as well. If in Windows Explorer mode alone, it takes effect immediately. ------------------ ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness IP: Logged |
