Who is more in control of this relationship and where it is headed?

His Sun, Pluto, Mercury, Uranus conj. my Asc., Mercury, Uranus

Or

My Sun, Pluto, Venus conj. his Venus?

Who's got the power? Who is waiting for whom to make a move?

And the winner eeeeeeeeeeeeeeez....

Wow, acoustic person! You registered pretty recently back in May and you have 1300 or so posts already?

Oh and sorry, as I have no idea about the power in your erm relationship. I was just curious about your replies. Why don't you examine the body language? That might reveal a lot and it does pretty much so in subliminal sort of way. Yeah.

Depends on how much you respect and need your partners usually. The more you need the more you respect, so give in to it. The one who learns to respect is the one who gets it and you need that in this life.

Do you want him or her to be your wife, or husband, and be part of your life? If so then you have made up your mind and you are stress free.

When couples never decide on each other they think they are so cool, and don't need each other. But instead they don't have any respect for the relationship.

I would ask yourself if you are a we yet. If you are stuck with each other than it doesn't matter. Question is will he be around for the rest of your life and if he or she isn't than why bother?

Very Taurus I know,

Thanks for your input, y'all. I was under the impression this was an astrology forum. Silly me.

I think I'll remember your helpful comments when it becomes your time to whine about why somebody who has or her Ceres squaring your Juno isn't returning your f&*&%& phone calls when you feel this "deep karmic" bond.

BTW, if I need the advice of Ann Landers, I know where to find her.

Logger: Excuse them. We all have our days around here.

Your Sun and Venus and his Venus is what pops out at me. My Virgo and I have the same conj. Now, forgive me, I forgot the exact wording, but I think it's the Venus person that adores the person with the conj Sun. I forgot where I read this, but I'm pretty sure that the link is on my harddrive, which my brother happens to be repairing at the moment. If the thread is still alive in the next week, I'll try to post you the link. I'm not very good nor focusing on synastry yet.

Thanks ScotScorp and MM

Scot, whiterabbit has a similar link that I think you are referring to. A pull like no other or something, and Viper man said this about the Venus Sun conj.

However, that doesn't bear out in my case.

What are your natal sun signs, mars and moons? That will probably go far in helping reveal who will make the first move.

Well, I certainly AGREE! I would think that Scorpio Mars would trump most everything else ...talk about a power house of Ego AND Sexual Energy. I'd be afraid of getting run over by that first move....LOL

"Mars in Scorpio indicates that you will ASSERT yourself in an energetic, positive, proud, practical, resourceful, courageous, persevering and emotionally INTENSE manner. You have an uncompromising spirit, deep reserves of energy, a strong instinct for survival and the ability to overcome even the most difficult of situations - you will fight to the end to defend your principles. Much of your energy may be channelled into the quest for personal success and emotional security. On occasion, you can callous, blunt, jealous, suspicious, revengeful and domineering - given to outburst of anger. You have a powerful SEX DRIVE that demands rewarding and satisfying expression. Lovemaking is of a passionate and all consuming nature. (Mars in Scorpio is the most sexual of all the zodiac signs). "

He has quite Fixed energies, I'd say, so you are more likely to be flexible than him and make the effort to build bridges...Fixed people won't "move" easily.

You perhaps need to get the ball rolling, really persuade him that your relationship is a good thing to pursue, work at it until his head is turned, he may take a little while to come round.

LOL

I've never been that impressed with mars scorpio personally, but then again the only mars scorpios I know are all virgos born in 1982....so the virgo sun tends to weaken things

The person with the power will have personal planets or the ruler of the others ascendant conjunct their Asc. and falling in their (partners) 1st house.

are you a sept 17-19 1987 birth

Lalalinda, that's the kind of answer I was looking for, except that it SUCKS! I'm of course the one who has all his personal planets in my first house. Oh well...

And no, I wasn't born in 1987. Do I sound that young (or immature??)? Should I be flattered or worried now? -- This just goes to show, there are no age limits for idiotic infatuations. Never a break, never a break...

ScotScorp and Ariestiger - you are right, of course, Mars in Scorpio is the strongest, but our relationship has been long distance for quite a while, and now we don't even communicate anymore at all. It's too painful to go into now, suffice it to say that if circumstances had been different and we had been around each other more often, he would have ended up in my bed a long time ago, and no regrets either.

I have been trying to get him out of my head, but after a while I feel like I am dying, I miss him so much. The fact is, no one has ever made me feel that alive before. So, it's beyond sexual energy, I would say, and more emotional/karmic. Otherwise, Ariestiger, I wouldn't be dealing with this issue at this point. I mean, there are limits to physical attraction when you never see each other anymore.

There are limits to physical attraction when you never see each other???

That there are my dear. BTW, thank you for the mention in one of your earlier threads.

The things which jump out at me from your first post on this link are the major conjunctions you both have. As I'm sure you already know. But his Sun conjunct your ascendant is big. It's almost as if the moment you open your eyes, you see him, he personifies the exact image of what you imagine the perfect partner to be?

Pluto conj your asc will only heighten this as Pluto is a male energy and a very powerful one at that.

What you may find here though is that he doesn't quite sense you in the same way as you him, as, like already mentioned, it's your ascendant these contacts are hitting - not your Sun or Moon and this may be where the issues lie. I admit the ascendant is a strong part of ones chart but one would need more direct personal contacts than just this to form a real bond. Sorry if this is sounding negative, it really isn't meant too.

Now from your contacts to him, you have some real strong ones. Sun conj Venus - gotta love this one. Your Sun conj his Venus (IS THE BOY BLIND?) Venus shines under the glow of the sun, what actually happens is she sees the reflection of her own beauty in the face of the sun and in essence loves what she is looking at! (make any sense?) this basically means Venus adores the Sun, pure total fascination and love, something which cannot be broken easily - one glance of the Sun person and Venus is hooked - as far as Venus is concerned that person will always be beautiful, in every sense - no matter what happens or how ever much they may try to deny or hide the fact, the simple truth is Venus will find the Sun person idilic in every sense. The way they walk, talk, smile, laugh, you name it - it's there

Now that is the bit which confuses me, he should see you like this - not be ignoring you!!!

Anyway, Venus conj Venus too, well that one's simple, the two of you would have similar if not nye on identicle tastes in almost everything

But Pluto conjunct Venus is the biggy, this one's karmic, very strong and awsomely powerful. There is another thread on the forum at the moment where this one has been detailed, 'A PULL LIKE NO OTHER' have a read, is good

Anyway to put a response to your original question, who has the most power. Technically it's your Sun and Your Pluto conjuncting his Venus - therefore if this were a game of poker, I would suggest you are holding all the Aces. However although a lot of his planets conjunct your ascendant, like I mentioned, your ascendant is not as strong as your Sun or Moon and is only the mask we wear, so he may not actually be seeing you as strongly as he could - or even wanting to play poker!

*crying loud & hysterically*

At the good days, this having the vision of perfection can be inspiring. After all, if I love and admire something so strongy, then it makes sense to cultivate these features in oneself, doesn't it?

This is the best part of Lindaland. Every now and then I come and find posted something I just needed to read. Even if it wasn't originally meant for me.

Thank you!

That is the exact point I was getting at!

the image is within oneself - not someone else

Viper, thanks so much for posting on my thread! I have been reading "a pull like no other" and I think it's fair to say, you are certainly ready to receive your Ph.D in Plutonism.

Everything you say is right on the money. Yes, his Pluto on my Asc. is certainly a whammy. I do feel like the sun is rising and setting with him. Everything about him enchants me, even though he can be difficult. But even his testiness and combativeness amuses me. I don't fell threatened by it.

No, he is not blind, but circumstances are definitely against us. He used to be a friend and business partner of my husband, but now they are enemies (not because of me, LOL), and since he is extrememly distrustful, he somewhat includes me in this too. And because I did not want him to know how much he means to me, I went in the opposite direction and really was quite inappropriately harsh to him about something he did, and he found me abusive, destructive, and what not. That's when our communication broke off.

But as I said, even though my life is full (of family, business, joys, and problems) I cannot forget him. There is also a Venus-Neptune sextile which probably is partly responsible for my seeing him in an idealised light. Is that what they call the "cinderella aspect"? Whatever it's called, I think it's priceless! lol It is probably something that can bind people together in such a way that they make it through rocky times in their relationship. (Unfortunately, it is an aspect I am lacking with my husband.)

If you are so inclined, Viper man (btw. what is YOUR sign?? I think you may have been absent for awhile, I never saw your posts since I signed on a few weeks ago) you could click on the link below, which doesn't show the synastry, but you can choose synastry from the menu and it will come right up.

George is his chart, Bill is my husband's.

Thanks.

Hi Loggerhead - forgive my asking, as I do not wish to intrude, but does your lindaland name have anything to do with this situation you are caught up in?

No, I haven't posted for quite some time, maybe 4 months or more, but am back now.

I'm a Pisces Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, North Node and I think Ascendant too - all rolling around the 12th house (now there's a stellium not everyone would wish for!!!) Ha LOL

Thanks for the link, I shall have a look over the weekend

Glad to hear I was of some insight, hope it helps a little

I didn't get the part about my name. - Will you enlighten me??

I chose it because I love sea turtles. Don't know why, but always have, always will.

Besides that I got myself into this situation because I am an incredibly talented girl for screw-ups of all sorts.

And yes, you helped a lot already. Besides, it helps to "talk" about these things.

Glad you are back, Viper.
