Topic: Ascendant represents the Earth, rules Libra?

I just read one theory,
that the Earth is the true planetary ruler of Libra,
and is represented in the horoscope by the Ascendant.Has anyone experimented with this possibility,

but Venus just makse so much sense!  that's a very interesting theory. So if someone has Libra rising then if you ask- where is the chart ruler located- well, it sits right on the ascendant! Ha! That makes it sound like we'd be very assertive and sure of ourselves (Libra rising here.. am definitely not any of those things). I'm just BS-ing here anyways, don't mind me. Heart--Shaped Cross -Nah ... if anything, someone once brought up the possibility of the Earth belonging with Taurus, and that always made more sense to me. Especially since Taurus is a Fixed Sign, and for us humans, being on the Earth is first and foremost a geocentric experience.

All I know about earth signs is that apparently in a heliocentric chart which puts the sun in middle.. your earth sign is always opposite your actual sun sign..so my earth sign would be Libra. quote:

http://www.elysian.co.uk/heliocentricastrology.htm But Earth rulling Libra doesn't sound right to me.. like AJ said, since Libra and Taurus both have Venus at the moment.. it would sound more accurate for Libra to keep Venus..and Taurus being a fixed earth sign -having Earth as its ruler. Wasn't there another planet Linda mentioned for taurus though? Or was that just Virgo? ------------------
