Has anyone else ever read that people with their Saturn in Scorpio are more liable to suffer the loss of loved ones early in life? What about Pluto in Libra? I've read its negative side brings unforeseen problems and disruption in close relationships...

Well, Pluto signs tend to be generational aspects. Actually, both these planets take a while to move forward. Saturn stays 2-2.5 yrs in each sign and Pluto takes I think 7 years? Not sure, but it's a really long time for that one. So a mass of people born under a certain time period will see both of what you said. What you've described sounds like mid 1980's.

For long term planets, read up on the sign meanings of course, but I think the house the planets fall into plus natal aspects have a heavier weight for an individual interpretation.
