Peri ~

Thanks for posting this -- it was fascinating to see the more "Eastern" or "Oriental" viewpoint merged with the "Western" view of astro house interps.....

I'm saving this as an additional interpretation resource.....

Great thread! I can especially relate to this soul-centered meaning of the 2nd house:

quote:
The control of the form life; the shaping of matter as the expression of spiritual values.

This is exactly the type of information I'm looking for right now. Beautiful bump, Dew & teasel.

I find it interesting the soul-centered meaning of the 12th house. For a long time people have told me that the man I love and I have past life karma, my sun sits in his 12th house. Our relationship wasn't openly acknowledged which also fits with traditional interpretation.
His sun is in his 1st house and he glows to me, the soul-centered interpretation says 'the aura' is part of the first house, which also correlates to it.
My sun is in the 9th (along w my venus) and this makes more sense than the traditional interpretation.
My moon is in my 2nd house (his is in my 2nd also) and I always thought it was strange cos although I feel a slight need for financial security (trad 2nd H) the soul-centred interpretation makes so much more sense to me.

Very interesting.

Great thread.I'm always anxious to find out more about the houses, especially the 12th(I have a stellium there...Sun,Mars,Merc,Venus,Chiron).My new man's Sun conjucts my Venus in the 12th.He Has a 12th house Sun as well...so the conjunction is located in BOTH of our 12th houses.I'm guessing we have the "unredeemed past life Karma" mentioned.I guess it could've been a romantic relationship, since it involves my Venus.I'd love to do a past life regression...just to see what my connection is to certain people in my current life.

Very interesting! I find these interpretations to be much more introspective and analytical of the core of a person than the traditional interpretations.
