I've been a wee bit greedy and posted the same thing over in Soul Unions but just thought I'd post this here aswell because I notice there've been quite a few MAGI astrology threads on this section. Hope no one minds too much

I wonder if anyone who knows about MAGI astrology could take a quick look at mine and my partner's chart and see if there are any indications of marriage there? I've heard about the Cinderella linkages but don't know how to calculate them myself, and I don't really find the MAGI site terribly helpful to astrology newbies.

He's mentioned marriage an awful lot and says I'm the only person he could ever imagine being married to but as yet... no proposals Are there any signs that we will ever be married or are we astrologically destined to live in glorious sin forever!

You have a few big super linkages - His Neptune conjucts you venus which inconjucts your own chiron.
Your chiron inconjuncts his Pl-Ur conjunction.
These two linkages create a YOD. Magi loves patterns. I believe they say they are very powerful.

Your chiron also inconj his Nep that inconj his jupiter - Another yod.

His Venus trines your Libra sun which they call a Cupid aspect - good.

Your Mars conta-parallel his Venus in dec - Sexual aspect.

Thanks so much for that! Will pop over to the MAGI site and see what they say about YODs and Cupids Dunno if I'm right, but I heard somewhere that if person A's Chiron conuncts or trines person B's Venus then that's a Cinderella linkage (and vice versa)? My partner's Chiron trines my Venus (Pisces to Scorpio) so does that mean we are destined to be married?

Just trying to compare the strength of MAGI astrology against traditional astrology as we have one aspect (can't remember which one exactly but something to do with Neptune I think) which Linda says indicates an alternative kind of relationship, perhaps not resulting in marriage but in a different way of being together such as living together. Just wondered which knowflakes would consider to be the stronger influence - i.e does a Cinderella linkage cancel the Neptune influence out or vice versa?

Re the Mars/Venus square double whammy, the answer so far has been deep breaths! Actually, (touch wood) we don't seem to notice too many conflicts on a day to day basis funnily enough! I think some of our nicer aspects are perhaps cushioning the blow somewhat. I tend to be the one who does most of the adjusting I suppose, but hey that's me being female and flexible and him being a fixed sign!

My computer was hit by lightening this past weekend and is in permanent SAFE MODE....great. I can't remember any of my passwords to ANYTHING...it has been a drag!

I see Duality has taken care of you. Remember that I posted the list for you prior to this thread. Learn it. Use it. The information does not change with Magi.

If you see the linkage, it IS a Cinderella link...follow the formula-charts I gave you.
It is a fantastic and invaluable reference!!

The www.magisociety.com site provides lots of clues...it just takes a while to figure them out...and can be confusing!!

Duality has stated that you do have at least one super-linkage with Neptune-Venus-Chiron! Great!

When you are comparing Magi with traditional astrology..what I have found to be helpful is to keep the interpretations 'loose'. There is ALWAYS wiggle room with regard to astrological interpretations....mainly though, I say follow your gut INTUITION. Trust it.
This alone will trump astrology...always.

Most importantly, we are all humans and while the science of astrology and patterns are very helpful, each couple has it's own personality that is not always so cut and dry. I do not believe that one aspect 'erases' the difficulty of another aspect in synastry...they BOTH are present and both will demand attention depending on how close the degrees are together.

ALL aspects are present...and none cancel out another...wish it was that simple to erase the yucky ones!! However, they are present to help you grow as a person and a couple...learning how to deal with frictions in life is PART of Life...learning to thoughtfully RESPOND instead of REACT is part of the whole picture as well.

Perhaps being aware of the more difficult aspects is the first part of learning how to handle the more unpleasant points of either natal or synastral charts. (Is that a word??) Hee-hee....

When you are aware of, lets say your Venus-sq-Mars aspects, you can make adjustments...and do so with UNDERSTANDING. And Remembering that it stems from present energy of these two planets and that they will always cause friction. AND Keeping in mind that transits will often stimulate these points more strongly during those times. So then, you choose to decide if you can work with that energy over time or not. It will be there not matter what other elements are present.

Just as in Life, it is always about HOW you 'handle' the issues that make a difference to the outcome-and thus, your Happiness will always be in Your hands.

Will have another look at the other thread and familiarise myself with the list you posted. You're absolutely right re the mix of aspects - they're always ever present and it's the way we respond as oppose to react that's the key to overcoming them. Thank you once again,
