I know enough now to know that an empty house is not a huge deal and actually common, but what is the meaning of several successive empty houses? For example this person has four houses consecutively empty: 10, 11, 12 and 1. BTW---10 is the top of the chart. The chart has no stelliums and the planets are spread among the other houses (except 5 ruled by Scorpio is empty too). Any reaction/comments would be appreciated. IP: Logged |

Go to this site and scroll down on homepage to Part II. That's what your question really boils down to, I think: the distribution of the planets around the wheel. http://www.bobmarksastrologer.com/TOClessons.htm This is a really nice site, btw. Tons of stuff. IP: Logged |

I am of the growing opinion that empty houses are opportunities for powerful experiences via synastry or transits. This eans that they're wide open to recieving energies from other sources that may fall in them. This of course could be good or bad.Another thing to look into is asteriods and midpoints. Especially midpoints. If there's that wide of a empty section of the chart, locate the major midpoint (Sun-moon, moon-Venus, Sun-Venus, SUn-ASC etc.) and see what may fall int hose houses. This tends to make those empty houses more lively that apparences would suggest, as midpoint often act as attractors of energies, which in turn the midpoint "introduces" into the chart. IP: Logged | |
