Hi all! How's everyone doing?

I wanted to post about Neptune squaring my Mercury for the past year and a half and until december.

This has been a difficult transit for me. I can't focus on anything and no one understands what I'm talking about.

This is made worse because I've always been considered smart at school, and the transit hit me just when I was starting college in the UK. Now I'm finding that I can't focus on the task at hand and start rambling when I need to get work done, and I've had a really hard time making a good impression with people in the UK because of this transit.

I was wondering if anyone has any tips for getting through this one without being thought of as kind of out of it and not so smart? Is keeping quiet the best option?

Oh man, that sucks! I have the opposition between those two planets natally, and I've always had to try HARD to focus in school and work. My mind seems to go off to distant places and Ive been occused of being spacey. But since you've been dealing w/ a transit that might last a while my only advice would be to REALLY concentrate and when your mind starts to wander just pinch yourself.

Hey Q -

Fine, thanx.

I would suggest an herbal supplement, like ginko, ginseng, gotu kola, or ashwagandha.

Also, I know its not the most opportune time, but try to open yourself up to what the transit is trying to show you. There are many positive elements to it as well, I'm sure.

I've got a few pesky transits in the works myself, not the least confusing of which involves Neptune, who is patiently dissolving away my core sense of identity, values, understanding of freedom and responsibility, and my imagined place in the larger scheme of things. Which is to say that Neptune is presently transiting my first house, and closely squaring my Sun, Venus, Uranus, and Midheaven (all packed in there between 13'55 and 16'32 Scorpio). So I can definitely relate to what you're going through. I've never been so clueless, and I'm trying in vain to convince the people I'm meeting for the first time that I am not always like this. More than anything, I just wish I could find a nice, plush, air-conditioned cave to hybernate in for the next year or so until this whole thing blows over. On the other hand, I do feel it is opening me up to a lot of possibilities and forcing me to take a long soft look at myself, and reconsider all the things I thought I knew (but only ever took for granted) about reality and my place in it.

So, chin up, and try to find the good and look at this as a time to get in their and dissolve and release a lot of outworn ideas that no longer serve your highest good. It may not be time yet to make any permanent renovations on your thinking, but there's plenty to be said for the fresh air you find blowing through a newly opened mind.

((or something))
