quote: Age and Origin of the Earth Radiometric dating has enabled scientists to arrive at an estimate of 4.6 billion years for the age of the earth. Although the oldest earth rocks dated this way are not quite 4 billion years old, meteorites, which correlate geologically with the earth’s core, give dates of about 4.5 billion years, and crystallization of the core and meteorites is considered to have occurred at the same time, some 150 million years after the earth and solar system first formed.
I know there's a lot of different theories..and obviously religion comes into it. But whether you believe in evolution or not.. Lets just assume that Earth *did* have a chart of its own..What would that chart be, in your opinion? and what about the progressed chart? I'm thinking Sun - Aqua (changeable, progressive - mainly in science), Moon - Cancer (nurturing), Asc - Aries (considering all the wars throughout history) In progressed, at the moment, I'd see it as a very watery/firey chart.. very emotionaly charged.

I wouldn't know where to begin to hypothesize a chart for the whole earth. What would I be distinguishing it from? How would I know whether the earth is more or less aquarian than the average planet? I'd think we'd have to enlarge the cosmic context. Hmm... Well, the Galactic Center is at 26' Sagittarius, so I guess, in relation to that, our solar system would be somewhere in the direction of 26' Gemini, which means... I have no f#cking clue! Well, if the Sun is Aqua, we don't have a lot of options for Mercury- so I'm going to say Pisces. Venus in Aries, early degrees, it would have to be.. and Mars in Aries, which would put Mars and Venus in the 1st house, if we're going by the Aries ascendant. And I think that makes sense. I think the male/female dynamic is very prominently placed in our world. IP: Logged |

hehe lol Whiterabbit, I was thinking Pisces mercury as well Not many ppl replied so I'm guessing my q was kinda fuzzy. If you don't know what I meant.. I guess it might be easier and a better idea to make up a chart for the world around you, the way you see it.. or *society* the way you see it Does anyone know what I mean? My Pisces Merc squares Uranus, half the time I'm under the impression people have no clue what I'm talking about..the other half they actually don't lol I just thought it would be interesting to see how the world around you makes you feel..what impact it has on you..on your own chart.. and what "chart" you'd make up for it based on that. Like I said in my other post, for me right now, (I said this in progressed) it would seem like a very watery/firey chart. That's just the feeling I get from society as a whole, at this point in time.. Do you think we've had earthy/firey/watery/airy decades? Like would the 60s be watery or the 70s firey? that kinda thing.. IP: Logged |

ok, right , if u insist it to be a be water /fire chart , the most probable reasons would be extremism . but i dont really agree with 60's and 70's being so too . or are we seeing these decades in different ways ?
