That no one will ever love you, ever.

Naw, just kidding.

I'm not an astrologer, but here's what astrology-numerology.com has to say about the aspect:
Venus opposed Saturn
The opposition between Venus and Saturn shows emotional frustrations. Indeed, this is a depressing aspect as the harshness of Saturn weighs heavily on the affairs of Venus such as happiness, harmonious relationships, artistic endeavors, and financial security. You may look at your accomplishments with continuous dissatisfaction, underestimating your self-worth. You may not have received the encouragement that you needed when you were younger, and you tend to shy away from competition because of a resulting lack of confidence. You may have to make concessions to others to maintain normal relations. Often you wonder if it's really worth the effort. Avoid a tendency to undervalue yourself and your ability to make a worthwhile contribution. The development of a positive attitude can be your most valuable asset.

~~~
Their being retro might suggest that the energies created by them are either more manifest inwardly than outwardly (ie. Very self-defeating self-talk).
The planets respective houses will have a lot to say about the areas in which the energy comes out...and I've little to nothing to say on the impact of the signs, except to say perhaps a stereotypical bit about how the innate passion that you wish to express may be constantly "belittled" by some part of you as not practical.
GemNymph or some other fantastic astrologer will have to give you more pertinent info
Also n ot an astrologer but I think that oppositions mean that just one of the energies are present at the time. When Saturn manifests, Venus is not present, when Venus is present, Saturn fades.
It probably means some periods of love interrupted with some periods of separation...
Or, better explained, that you have to win love (Venus) with patience, dscipline and hard work (Saturn) and maybe pain (scorpio)
Can you get ahold of Liz Greene's _Saturn: A New Look at an Old Devil_?
As a person w/ a Saturn-involved t-square and a husband w/ ten thousand Saturn aspects, I've found it to be useful.
