So I just found out Saturn finally left us Cancers!!! HOORAY! I mean, my heart goes out to all the Leo's nevertheless. You guys have quite the couple years ahead.
However, is it just me or am i still feeling the effects. Does anyone know if it takes a few months to shake the powerful Saturn influence? I suppose the weight just doesn't lift from one day to the next. Or does it? LOVE LIGHT AND HAPPINESS!!

CG stop playin,

But yeah, things are looking up. The relationships that almost fell apart as a result of the nasty tricks of saturn are slowly but surely being restored.

Oh dear, knew saturn had entered Leo, is it really going to be that bad?!

Or maybe I can use him to my advantage? I can be slightly lazy at times, maybe I could do with the taskmaster?!

PP&S - check to see what house saturn in leo is transiting through. maybe that's why yer still feelin something? when saturn was in cancer it treked it's way through my 1st house and boy oh boy did i feel that! my natal saturn is in leo in the 2nd (yeah yeah it's my turn <grumble grumble> ) but it's not been too bad at all <knocks on wood>. i was having a much worse time when mr saturn was in my 1st house! let's see what happens though cuz saturn isn't at the exact degree yet...

i almost flunked out of college because of too much partying...even when i thought i buckled down by study 50 hours a week with no fun, i almost flunked out..i was doing something wrong and i couldnt figure it out. my first two years of high school were spent slacking off and thinking i was too good for it, my last two years i had to buckle down on myself and pull off good grades to repair for what i had done before. saturn is conjunct my MC right now...

i feel like the energizer bunny. im feeling the brunt of all my past laziness and recklessness but instead of sitting around moping saturn is making me going nuts on fixing things up...ive patched up so many holes already....i mean the only down side is i feel stressed and like *crap* and ive got no friends right now...trans saturn opposed mars in aquarius...because i shut them out to get my lif back in order. even with my boyfriend who i love to the ends of the earth, our relationship is getting threatened...but i told him just to hold on..things will get better..

i hope cuz all this hard work isnt my style

Oh no worries! The thing I know most about Saturn Cycles, is they can make you SO much stronger in the end. If you keep your head up, and perservere throughout Saturn, it's like you can handle anything!
I know exactly what you mean alanabelle (by the way is 86 your birth year, cuz it's mine. They're not TOO many youngins around ). I lost SO many friends, my social life, partying, boyfriend, all of it was done with! But by the end, I came out of it with MUCH more positive people and circumstances! Im so much happier now. And all the positive people that were around before then are still around now, so Im confident that things between you and your man will smooth. The thing I kept in mind the whole time was how awesome things will be once Saturn leaves. Its good to have things to look forward to Lots of love!

Well, the two worst times in my adult life Saturn was conjunct one of my luminaries. Both times I was literally on the fringes of sanity and struggling with suicidal depression. At least it'll be awhile before that happens again.

However Saturn will be transistin over my Sn and into my 12th house in a few months, and I'm not sure what to expect with that.

Saturn is conjunct my Sun, Mars and Ascendant right now..

Ever since Saturn entered Leo, I've been struggling to keep my temper under control - I feel like people are really trying to test my patience. Lately I've been feeling tired a lot, I went from going to the gym at least 3-4 times a week to 3-4 times a month. So far, I lost 2 "friends" - both of whom I've known for about 7-8 years. I recently dropped out of college - my Mercury is at 20°Leo - I hope when Saturn is near that degree I'll be in school again and I'll have my mind made up as to what to major in and what profession I should look into..

Now that I think about it, I'm kinda glad Saturn is in Leo. All I've been doing the past few years is party and bullsh*t, I haven't really done anything productive; I need discipline and stability in my life. But I can't wait til Saturn leaves Leo, it has only been in Leo for 2 months and I already feel "restricted"

Saturn Horror stories...!
But does it have to be that way...I mean Saturn is tough love, isn't it? It is like get up and get your act together or else...and in the end it's up to us, really.

Hexxie, I am curious about what did Saturn do to your First House, it's in my first house, and I am having a Saturn Return party -- is party the proper word? I am not sure.

Would love to hear what happened there..
Love,

Neptune’s Muse-

For me, Saturn treking through my 1st house was very tough. I went through a rollercoaster of losing my job of 10 yrs suddenly and unexpectedly, to getting a new job with a childhood friend of my dad’s (also unexpectedly), to having him pass away (suddenly & unexpectedly (see a pattern here LOL), to having the co-workers in that new job completely turn on me for no reason after he passed, to getting yet another new great job (yes finally)! It was pretty much constant movment until it got out of my 1st.

I’ve learned a lot about my ego, and personality during that period of time. It’s tough because Saturn moves from being above the horizon in all the outer focused houses to being below the horizon where you now are forced to shift gears and focus on your inner self. The 1st house is your soul and havin Saturn there makes your soul a bit “constricted, restricted, and confused” and asking "What am I doing here? What should I be doing here?" Saturn here is the mirror that is held up to you and you can see how you look, how you act, your ego and you soul and it can be a shocker! No matter which way you try to turn you can’t look away! I look at Saturn as the strict master teacher who pushes you to your limits so that those limits may expand.

Ok...must....stop.....before......tangent.......continues........

My Ascendant is Cancer so I had Saturn going through my 12th house and now it's in my first in Leo. But because of Astrology I knew just to lay low, didn't date anyone for atleast a year, kept my relationships light, and kept my mouth shut and just did a lot of inner searching, tried to figure out what it was the was going to make me happy. Since leaving Cancer though I have had this urge to merge and made I think a horrible error in judgement with a guy whom I thought was something special, turns out he's a big jerk. Atleast I can deal with it better than I would of if it had been a year ago. Just completely disappeared and hasn't called, ran away like a frightened dog, makes me so mad but, I have the sense to know that he's not worth my anger!

Saturn through my first wasn't much of a picnic... but I had it squaring a Venus/Mars opp Pluto and t. Uranus conjunt n. Moon at the same time.

This past year it feels like my marriage is on the edge of falling apart... my Saturn return is just starting in the 2nd house, the first of 3 hits and Uranus is coming back for it's last hit on my Moon. I'm having sever security issues right now...

yeah, i was born 10/26/86. i'm a youngin... :-P

saturns conjunct my moon right now...kicking my *butt* so badly in the emotions department too. wow, but keepin the head up likea good sport i think its better to assume the cause and blame it on saturn, than it is to not know what the hell is going on...makes things much easier than trying to understand myself. if it werent for astrology id be picking myself apart making changes right now...

thats Pluto in Scorpio the 1st for ya...

Sometimes keeping your head up like a good sport isn't the only thing you can do, but the best thing to do!
Laying under your covers with a box of tissues and a bigger box of chocolates until Saturn goes away can be good, too. Just not for too long
