I know my planets and positions are set. But, I feel like I'm more of a Cancer Sun, Pices Moon and Aquarius Rising than what I really am, which is a Cancer Sun, Aquarius Moon and Capricorn Rising. Also, I've been told by someone that I seem more like a Gemini than a Cancer, could they just be picking up on my Venus in Gemini?

Is it possible you have the wrong time? If your chart really feels way off, then that is my best guess. IP: Logged |

Well, uh, have you ever been a Can-Pis-Aqu? I would assume "no" so in fact you don't really know what it would feel like to be a Can-Pis-Aqua in *comparison* to what you actually are. Granted, the wishful thinking and denial are awfully Piscean, but god, I've known a lot of Cancers who were just as bad about that as your average Pisces, so hey. It's probably not that you feel Piscean, but that you see a lot of your Cacnerian triats mirrored in Piscean, and because these are both water signs, there's a more intuitive and emotional affinity there than a rational one. Your Aqua moon is intercepted - for starters moon in Aqua is a little peregrine, which means "wandering" -that's astro babble for a planet that lacks "essential dignities" but isn't in fall or detriment (in other words, it's not a comfy placement because the planet isn't focused well in that sign and kind of "wanders" about without direction). Intercepted means it's in a house ruled by another sign (Capricorn), so it's kind of liek a guest in the house it resides. So it's wandering and doesn't have its own house to call home. That probably is a little unsettling. Here's some frank talk: I come across a lot of Aqua moons who think and are *convinced* they are something they are not. Again, this is mostly due to Aqua moon being peregrine - it's looking for direction. So there seems to be a bit of identity confusion among some Aqua mooners (this seems to accoutn for why so many marry young, and then divorce young). The moon is irrational and subjective (personal), while Aqua is rational and objective (impersonal): there's a huge inclination here for an Aqua moon to rationalize something they feel as being an objective truth, when all it is are emotions, which are not objective truth, but subjective experience. So to sum up, I suspect that your pererine and intercepted moon is rationalizing - ti's not comfy wher it is, and due to its lack of direction and "home" it's having a hard time expressing itself in a certaina dn clear way. That mean you are having a ahard time understanding yourself. You want answers, so you can find your place (so Cancerian), and some you are assigning answers to see if they work. But I have to tell you, thinking you're a PIsces moon isn't going to work - I am a Pisces moon, and no Aqua moon could ever really pass as one of us. Trust me. There's NOTHING significant in your chart to suggest that what you feel is actually such a personality-altering Piscean influence: No planets in Pisces or decans of Pisces No planets in the 12th No significant Neptune aspects Neptune is not a singleton Unless you just hang around Pisceans all the time and pick up on their watery, oblivious, disoriented ways, I suspect it's all simply that you're a Cancer. That means you're empathetic, but not a closet Pisceans. You're also an Aqua moon - I can assure you this, as I see it all over your post. One day, hopefully, you'll see it too. It just seems that for many Aqua moons, the path of self-discovery is, well, a very meandering one. But you'll get there eventually. addendum: If AG is right, and you just have the wrong time, then hey, there you go. But I assume you've confirmed your birth time. IP: Logged |

I had a Cancerian girlfriend who thought she was more of a Capricorn than me. Do Cancers not like being Cancers?IP: Logged |

I like being a Cancer, more than any other sign I am definitely a Cancer. I was only asking why I felt like Pices influenced me as well and wondered if this was because my moon was close to leaving the sign of Aquarius when I was born. Since you can be on the cusp with your sun sign, I wondered whether or not the same is true of your moon/rising signs. I like astrology, but I'm guessing I don't know everything there is to it... that is why I ask. I guess there are such things as stupid questions.IP: Logged | |
