I've been enjoying this forum for quite some time and finally decided to register a week or so ago.

Can anyone please tell me how to find your rising sign?

I do not see anything about a rising sign

"Ascendant" is another word for "Rising Sign"... yours is Taurus.

Or you can do the same and explore..
because it can be such a rewarding jouney of self discovery....
so study up and learn a bit more, and then tackle your own understanding.
The 'rising' sign is called that because it is the sign that was rising on the eastern horizon at the moment of your birth, thereby colouring your personality and starting the house positions. http://home.istar.ca/~starman/astrofaq.shtml

Pixelpixie, Thanks for that great site! And you are right, all of this is a great way of self discovery. This site: http://www.elbertwade.com/page99.html has a thorough decription of each of the rising signs.

Hi luna! Nice to be special I have so much Leo in my chart I don't know which I am sometimes. My youngest daughter is a Leo and she and I are very alike except in our emotions. I was curious about the rising sign because I am very stubborn. Guess the Taurus rising explains most of that behaviour.
