Could we pretty please get a "sticky" function? I ask because the "Cool links" threads have so much good info in them but if they don't get bumped people with questions don't see them.-buddybee IP: Logged |

LotusHeartOne,The idea here is that they will no longer need to be bumped to be easily accessible. IP: Logged |

LotusHeartOne,The point is that it is worth reading and it isn't up. FYI, Randall is one of "us" and if he can I would like him to create the sticky function in order to better assist people who are having the same kinds of questions about aspects and other astrology stuff. It's all about convenience. I've spent hours searching for good info on the web and come up with nothing. Very often it's been people HERE who have pointed me in the right direction in a matter of minutes. The fact is is that with so much info on the web it can be hard to spend that kind of time researching and coming up with nothing. All I would like to see is people having access to the information that they desire. If it's important to you to not have a sticky function may I suggest you start a new thread? IP: Logged |

Just a quick thought for you Beebuddy, have you tried 'Bookmarking' threads so you can find them again? Ive done this with several threads in which Im either interested in or am waiting for a reply in. You can find it easily then! I dont know about the sticky thread idea, I think everyone is interested in different things and theres so many ppl on LL that different threads stay near the top or are bumped frequently.IP: Logged |

PS, there is also a search function on LL and you can look through different forums and look at either subject or/and message for whatever you need.IP: Logged |

Actually I agree with beebuddy about having a sticky function. It'll be especially useful for the newbies so we know where to start etc...(I'm thinking about the list of links string that was compiled by beebuddy.) IP: Logged |

Sun_Scorpion ~There is indeed a Search function, but the "Search" in the Astro forum hasn't worked for almost a year I think, and many of the others went down (at least for me) a couple months ago -- although SU still works..... I like the idea of a Sticky -- but who decides what is "sticky" -- Randall?? beebuddy, I love your thread and I've tried to keep it in the top 3 topics pages and encourage other people who find good stuff to post their links in there. For now, I'm gonna go bump it again!! Zala IP: Logged |

I do agree here, I've been through pages and pages, and there's hundreds, some I've bumped up for other newbats like myself, and as Zala has said the search function doesn't work, well not for me anyway....I do enjoy looking through the many pages and stories, but it seems I just find what I want, then I lose it....maybe I'm losing my mind....hence my posting the relevant info into one thread in the astro course forum... Hope all is well in your part of the world. Blessings ~ Maia ~ IP: Logged |

If this site gets a Sticky function, I can think of at least 10 other CGI's I'd like to add on too ...(Bumping threads only takes two clicks) Remember ...
