Iqhunk unregistered	posted October 11, 2005 03:07 PM From what little I know, Pluto Conjunct Venus would be intense and transformative and passionate love than emotional and empathetic affection or friendly, understanding sort of love. Jupiter conjunct Venus would be "expansive" affection than love. Maybe a relationship where the Jupiter buys the Venus a lot of gifts, showers attention on the Venus to feel great at giving love and so on. Conjunt by sign? I have no idea. Maybe this will vary sign to sign and even house to house. Maybe same house and same sign conjunction will have more impact. IP: Logged
Iqhunk unregistered	posted October 11, 2005 03:12 PM Maybe Mars trine Venus and PLuto Conjunction along with Neptune conjunct Neptune trining the Venus/PLuto conjunct could indicate a phenomenal physical, emotional and spiritual love explosion. I just read a link from here on LIna/Paul MccArtneys synastry where Neptune's importance is stressed in spiritual/emotional "soulful" love. IP: Logged
SecretGardenAgain unregistered	posted October 11, 2005 05:03 PM hi mama mia, i wouldnt have taken any of those two as my first guesses, but it depends on the suns involved and what their rulers are (my ruler is venus and so it would be really important what his planets are doin with my venus!) the top three that came to mind for me: Sun/Moon and Saturn contacts Mars/Venus contacts, and Venus/Saturn Pluto/Venus or Pluto/Moon--Pluto/moon is even more powerful than Pluto/venus. other good places to look: composite 7th house and composite 4th house. DragonflyAries unregistered	posted October 11, 2005 11:42 PM On just a choice between the two I'd actually pick Jupiter conjunct Venus to be the "stronger" aspect for a relationship. While Pluto conjunct Venus gives strong attraction and passion, it can also make for a bumpy ride romantically. Jupiter conjunct Venus on the other hand is one of those "feel good" aspects that just makes you feel so comfortable with the other person that the bad parts of the relationship don't seem so bad. You like each other enough that you're willing to face whatever comes. Pluto/Venus can sometimes be a love/hate kind of relationship where one second you want to make mad passionate love to them and the next you want to strangle them. LOL I've had relationships with each aspect, so I definitely prefer Jupiter/Venus. IP: Logged

Gemini Nymph unregistered	posted October 12, 2005 01:06 AM Iqhunk - unless there is balance elsewhere in synastry, Venus-Pluto conjs indicate a power imbalance, where the Pluto has more power over the Venus person. Think of the myth of Pluto, or Hades, lord of the underworld - it is as though Venus is Persphone and Pluto abducts her and takes her to the underworld to rule over her. Kind of scary if you think about it. So without balanced this becomes a very obsessive aspect that indicates the potential of abuse (inculding sexual) and severe control/obsession. Pluto is a powerful planet but that power can be challenged in harmful ways. Be very mindful of Pluto aspect in synastry, epsecially with eiher Venus or the moon. If there are not aspect in stnatry to help balance out Pluto's power over the partner's more vulnerable plnaets, these could more likely be an indicator of big trouble rather than romantic bliss. If there are other good synastry aspect to keep the Venus person being completely dominated, then this could be a very romantic aspect. But many people think - and partly due to some things Linda wrote - that Ven-Pluto is always good, when in fact, this aspect ought to come with a bright red warning label. IP: Logged
