Luckily I have mars on the ascendant too which makes me care about material things-the good thing about this aspect and the concern about the practical is that it keeps me grounded in the day to day of my life and keeps me from becoming a full blown addict to loose living. mars gives more masculinity which is needed because neptune is so feminine, combine that with venus ruled sun and I need the mars influence although many have dropped as a friend once they see how strog willed I can be underneath.

I wonder what it's like being venus and pluto ruled? what do you do for a living?

You relate easily to all types of people and are friendly to everyone, regardless of their social status. You don't measure anyone by the cut of thier clothes, their school, or the social register, for you are intimately aware of the unfair limitations imposed by social custom and tradition. You view everyone you meet as a unique and individual person who cannot possibly be categorized except as a member of the human species. You are intuitively aware that the progress of man and of the society he conceives and constructs depends explicitly upon the individuality of its members. Therefore you aggressively defend every person's right to be an individual. In your view, the past and its traditions are important only for the lessons learned, and the future is possible only when our grip on the past is finally released.

Lately my mars has become more driven and I want to go back to school, I am taking paralegal courses and I enjoyed working at a law firm. I feel stronger working in legal especially when business issues come up.

it's nice to help others isn't it?

Oh yeah... I see this often in my life. I took on a University dept that was using grant and foundation money to purchase expensive chairs and give the higher ups 20% raises while taking from the little people (handing out 1 to 2% raises on salaries as low as $18,000 per year).

I hate things like that.. now I am dealing with my former County employer that is doing the same thing. Mismanaging grant money and when I got closer to what was happening.. I got laid off (with the help of a psycho Aqua that wanted my job LOL).

Now they are going after the other Saggie.. He is an upstanding guy that works very hard. The supr wrote a 3 page scathing memo on him that is totally baseless. I was hesitant to really take everyone on after what happened to me, but now that they are getting even worse and going after him... well, I am writing out the issues and going after the violations of county policy.

It is really sad how people think they can do this to others. They have no conscious thought about ruining a person's career or ability to put food on the table. Sad really...
