Topic: Ambition and drive in the chart

Hi all!I was thinking: what could one look at in the chart to signify (astounding) ambition and drive and the actually ability to achieve ones goals in terms of career? I am thinking...Mars? Because Mars is synonymous w/ energy... Is Mercury considered too? Since a lot of ambiton originates in the mind?
And how about Pluto? Transformation through work/ career?
I am also thinking about aspects to the MC... I read on Bob Marks AStrologer website, that aspects of Neptune could be particularly beneficial....( well, in show biz as least-lol)
Anyone have any experience insight into any of this and wants to share? Hypothesize?

1.consider the 10th house
2.the sign in the 10th house
3. the planet ruiling that sign
4.the aspects of the planet with planets in the 10th house
5.finally the aspects of the planet with a)chart ruler b)moon and c)sun. see where there is harmony and where there is trouble. theen wu will know what kind of career a person can excel in and how. also what kind of relationship he had with his dad. IP: Logged |

Mercury is conjunct my sun
I would say tha, yeah I've very ambitious, but liek a typical Mercurial, I rarely fly a straight path, am frequently distrracted and at times grounded by the occasional bout of narvous exhaustion  But I'm getting there.

I have to say that Mars is going to matter in the day-to-day. You can have all the great 10th House influences, but if you have a lazy-azz Mars, it's sometimes good to be around those who understand you - give you that needed kick in the butta. Not in a mean way, but they just understand you, so they can help.One thing I should mention, which we've talked about here many times, is the Degree your Mars is in. For example, my Mars is in Scorpio, but at 0.50 Degrees. So it is greatly influenced by the Sign BEFORE it. It's not fully realized in Scorpio yet because it is in such an early Degrees. ------------------

I think it is our ego that makes us ambitious. What sign is the most ambitious? Leo!
So I think ambitions are ruled by Sun. Mars shows how we work or get things done MC is our social standing (also sign on MC indicates traits we want to possess) VI house is our job (working environment) IP: Logged |
