soon after i left lindaland i decided to satisfy my hunger for knowledge by buying books on astrology and never return back. i would exhaust all my funds in buying books. i left college as it was boring and studied astrology full time. slowly and gradually i came to understand my chart better and know what was resulting turmoils at home and in studies.

on a personal level i realised i was wrong in considering my self sagittarius. my negatives and positives were both matching to the discription of scorpio. i got to learn how while western astrologers studied the pshcyological aspects of the signs they failed at realising that the very calculations made didn't match astronomical data. i came to know that indian astrology has deeper vedic roots.

i had to get back to LL. for so many reasons LL had become a part of my life. i learnt the basics here. i learnt about international cultures and way of living here. above all i made, whom i thinks are, friends here from around the globe.

but one thing i had not developed was humility. i got agitated at AJ's words. called her a b****h in retaliation. i didn't realised that regions have tone difference. i didn't realise that manytimes i was just posting for attention.

now i have come to terms with myself. and i know there is no lying now.

no doubt i consider myself scorpio now because of indian astrology having better synchronicity with my life. but above all i am a human being who has to evolve from being a mere scorpio or sagittarius.

i was your Archer.but now i'm a process called...TheEvolution.

help me get evolved.

aww how sweet, he finally admits it..after getting rude to me for guessing it

:edit: but Welcome Bk I guess..overall you do have a very serious streak, which reminds me of cancer/scorpio. But there is some Sagittarius in you for sure. Rubs my Pisces Merc the wrong way sometimes.

I would not rule out Western calculations yet. Astronomy was invented in the west, the westerners discovered Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Top scientists have been secret astrologers. Kepler, Newton, Tyco Brahe, COpernicus etc. Western Astrologers helped JP Morgan and Rockefeller amass billions. Indian Astrologers could not even predict Indira Gandhi or Rajiv's Assasination! Nor a single stock market collapse in the last 15 years. USA's birth time of July 4th 1776 was chosen to give a 13 degree Cancer to the Natal Chart by the Freemasonic Founding Fathers. They are true achievers, Indian astrologers could achieve NOTHING. I know I sound harsh at my countrymen but face it, they could not even predict a simple earthquake in India nor a world cup cricket champion. Our "best" Vedic astrologer said Sonia would be out of politics last year or something, that BJP wont lose etc.

Our astrological calculations are wrong, I am sorry to say. Science has been always anti-astrology, how can you use a scientific foundation for astrological charts? Whatever method Linda used is right. She is an Aries, a double Aries. How can she be a Pisces???

Indian astro data is excellent on behaviours, transits etc but the western method for getting the charts HAS to be correct because the WINNER is always right when he has chosen a method to win. USA is a superpower because of their precise 13 degree Cancer birth, Gemini Ascendant etc.
As per Indian astro, USA would have been a Gemini Country! IMPOSSIBLE!

Thinking about this will further your evolution
Cheers!

no but in indian astro moon's sign is considered. but in reality we don't belong to any sign. we are a mixture of many signs. its just that as soul is ruled by sun western astrologer say maximum of u is the sun and thus u belong to a particular sun sign. similar concept in indian astro for moon.

Ponder on this. We have a Surya Nadi, Chandra Nadi and Sushumna. When balance is attained in these two major channels, Kundalini rises up the Sushumna.
Ganga Nadi, Yamuna Nadi, SARASWATI, the invisible river. Get it?
Thus, Sun and Moon are equally important for the soul to attain mental "moksha" and break the karmic rnanubandhanas.

The planetary aspects show you what you have to work out. If you do, you break their hold on you and can laugh away the Sade Sati/Saturn 7.
Saturn becomes your friend once you start mental yoga and true chart interpretation.

End of the day, personality is unimportant, it is not going to liberate your self to 4th dimension.
Are you evolving according to you? That is all that counts.

"Are you evolving according to you?"

i don't know. its a scary path. where i have to keep smiling. as they say for pluto who is overmy moon by almost exact degrees (indian astro)..."keep the faith, trust the process".

hey guys! this is indeed a wonderful place! nice that you came back theEvolution (don't think we've ever spoken before). i have been wondering as of late what my chart would look like if it were done by a vedic astrologer. do you guys know any indian astrology sites that will do a free chart for me (that are like astro.com)? or would anyone mind doing my chart and letting me know what 'i am'?! please let me know, thanks a bunch!

dear Evolution ~

thank you for your return, and these
heartfelt words accompanying you back
here. they touched me, how you relate
to LL as a roosting place for your soul
and growth.

love and light to you dear archer.

and Iqhunk ~
i'm in awe of your words and understanding
here.

in star signs LG talks about rising above
the boundaries of your birthchart. i've
meant to post something about this, about
how does one actually go about doing that...

it seems that you've touched on that with
this statement ~

quote:
The planetary aspects show you what you have to work out. If you do, you break their hold on you and can laugh away the Sade Sati/Saturn 7.
Saturn becomes your friend once you start mental yoga and true chart interpretation.

can you share more insight about this?

thanks.
