I met a guy with his Mars conjunct my Venus in Gemini. I have read that this is a strong indicator of physical attraction. Not to get graphic, but we didn't even have sex and it was HOT. We both were amazed and said that it was very rare how compatible we were in this way. My Mars is in Libra, as well as my Eros, Pluto and Saturn. His Sun, Moon and Mercury are in Libra. My Moon is in Aquarius. Would any of this be an indicator of us being compatible in that way?IP: Logged |

Some synastry links:soulmate aspects: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/000404.html synastry aspects: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/006463.html Venus or Moon? http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/006015.html P.S. btw I dont get sexually attracted to guys whose Venus or Mars conj my Venus conj Mars (but I do love Aries ). Is it because my Venus conj Mars oppos. Pluto? Anyway I don't think that Mars/Venus synastry conj would be enough for attraction if your own (or his) Mars/Venus makes hard aspects to other planets. All synastry aspects should be taken into consideration. But if you are already attracted and don't plan any serious relationship, why look at synastry aspects at all then? j/k

hi guys, im posting cause first off when i read the post reply of tim i just have to say. i wish i had ur insight. i really learn alot from the way u interpret things. also damn am i glad im not the only one with a guy that is younger im a 1987 baby and he also 1989 lol he is so cute. only a very shy capricorn. our main connection is venus conj uranus, he has that aspect in his natal chart, and its my uranus conj his venus in saggitarius. also uranus inconjuncts my venus, and my ascendant opposes venus. the only 2 aspects i have with venus. i think im gonna make my own post even if no one replies lol. c u guysIP: Logged |

My last relationship, we had his Mars conjunct my Venus in Gem, and yeah, things were hot from the get-go. And sincee that meant his Mars was trining my Uranus, and opposing my Jupiter while conjucnting my Jupiter, while his Aries moon sextiled b\my Venus and opposed my Uranus...well, let's just say we did have a very interesting, adventrous and mutually pleasureable time together. I don't regret a thing. IP: Logged |

We also have the conj. of Venus and Mars in Scorp, and his Mars also cojuncts Uranus. My Venus trines his Venus, and his Sun. His Moon is conjunct my Sun, Mercury, Mars, and Neptune, sectile Pluto. On our first date, the attraction was so very strong just as you described. I was floored, like where did that come from? Lol, had never been so into someone by just sitting next to them. We immediatly agreed to go out again the next night, and the rest is history IP: Logged |

Hello just thought I'd come add an interesting factor into the equation- I like a guy who's Venus is conj my Mars.... Everyone else so far has had the combination 'the right way round' so to speak with the guy as the Mars and the girl as the Venus. I heard it doesn't work quite as nicely the other way around. It's fair to say I'm definately the one pursuing... is he looking for love and security? lol I don't know... well, he is a Cancer IP: Logged |

Girl taaaaaaaaaalk Girlies, i heard that in addition to the oh so famous mars and venus attraction which I haven't experienced so far, so I don't know, if your Mars falls in someone's 5th house, it is fireworks for the house person! 8th house I presume goes without saying. i don't know, I am not a big fan of the mars and venus aspects, I like big planets. Mars Mars opposition might be all about energy as well, but i guess the fights would set records in decibels! You know there are aspects you can get over, and there are aspects you can't get out of your mind! Pluto - Moon, Neptune - Angles, Pluto Venus despite its bad reputation! I have a question though, how does the Venus Mars conjunction/opposition work with friends, or people whom you have no romantic interest in, or even people of the same sex, how does it manifest itself? XMelanieXy, have you looked at each others house overlay as well? Know several couples who are incredably attracted to each other but who have no venus/mars connections at all. Instead 8th house overlay. Big blur for is whether house overlays in synastry go both ways? Neptune’s muse, you mention the two examples with planets falling in a person’s 5th and 8th house, indicating that it’s the house person that will feel this overlay. (this is exactly what I always read.) But I’m wondering whether the planet person might feel the sexual attraction just as much (especially with the 8th house) because arent we always reminded that synastry connections go both ways. So with house overlays as well??? What do you think? Peri, thanks so much for adding the link to your post ‘If I’…..what a fantastic guide to planetary connections in synastry and I had completely overlooked it. It would be such a treat if you could help out with your wisdom reg house overlays and sexual attraction as well.

Well here's a tricky one...what happens when the girl's mars conjuncts the boy's venus, but his mars also sextiles her venus? Does that cause then for both to do the pursuing with each other? hahaIP: Logged |

Sandra, from what I read that's why it's so important to look at house overlays, because it shows exactly how the two people are perceiving stuff differently. Here is a link to it: http://www.cafeastrology.com/synastry_house_overlays.html

Tnx Lauren. His venus does conjunct my stellium in declination so that might add to the impact. Personally, I've noticed I am very attracted to men who have their Mars conjunct my moon, even if by a large orb. And it's not only men in romantic situations. I just like those people very much. Yup, yup its my guy's Mars which is conjunct my VEnus by sign and degree!!! Here's a different variation... Venus c. Venus or Mars c. Mars by sign or degree or both. Do any of you have this? I don't have that with my bf, but with this Libra guy I work with. Its really weird, I'd never expereinced anything quite like it before. This certain Libra has been directly been chasing after me, and doesn't care that I have a boyfriend. Unlike the Venus and Mars conjunction with my man, this attraction is strictly one sided.. I am not at all into this Libra at all despite having the same excat Venus and Mars by sign and degree.IP: Logged |

"Neptune’s muse, you mention the two examples with planets falling in a person’s 5th and 8th house, indicating that it’s the house person that will feel this overlay. (this is exactly what I always read.)"Funny you should mention this, my Venus and his Mars are in my 5th house. And would you be surprised if I were to say that my mars, eros, pluto and saturn and his Sun, Moon, Mercury are in my 8th house. I can't really say for his, as I don't know his birthtime. Astrology amazes me sometimes.

Lauren, There were 2 or 3 guys whose Venus was on my Mars conj Venus. They were attracted but I wasn't However, I was very much attracted to someone whose Venus conj Pluto was on my Pluto and opposed my Venus conj Mars. Besides this Venus/Pluto double whammy, we also had a number of others: Venus/Neptune, Venus/Jupiter, Venus/Saturn, Venus/Mars. My Venus is 9'35 aries, his Venus is 9'55 libra.
