So my Cancer mother gets this idea in her mind that she wants to listen to shortwave radio stations. She buys a sweet and pricey little radio, calle me over and hands it to me to "figure it out" for her. It took me a while, I had to look up some basic information about shortwave radio, but I got the hang of it and now I'm so excited, it's really fun! But while getting so excited, I thought to myself "How Aquarian of me!"
I never think of myself as a gadgety person, or good with electronics or computers just because I never really explored these areas much, but whenever I do I enjoy it and pick it up quickly. (I'm more the artsy fartsy type usually).

So- just asking- share about a time when you just felt so "true to form" in relation to your Sun sign- something that surprised you, perhaps? Or share a talent of hobby that just fits right into your sign. Or a moment, something you did or said or thought that was so very ___________ (insert Sun sign here) Please no generalization-bashing here, I'm innocent!

Go on, share!

I can add one input, I love playing like cricket(Indian sport), chess, tennis, anything.
Once I went for swimming in our apartment complex. A guy approached me and he said that let us play. I thought that may be he is asking me to play water football something. I said okay where is your football. He said that why do you need football, we can play without it. I asked him okay tell me how can we play without it. He said okay you touch me and I will touch you. The moment he said that I just run away from pool. I came home and told my son that this is what happened in pool.
My son, said that I am very stupid that why would a guy would like to play football with me.

I always feel truest to my Gem self whenever I charm people without trying.

I write a lot, and hope to be a professional writer one day. That's very Gem.

Making me rack my brain, I see. lol I don't really fit the typical Virgo stereotype, I actually have more Libran traits...but I suppose there are a few interesting facts about me:

1. I like lists.
2. I'm not very promiscuous (I don't know what's so interesting about that, but in this day and age...)
3. I can remember the little things that nobody else remembers.
4. I like to complain about anything and everything (most people simply stop listening.)
5. I actually like most health foods (ie bran, and stuff everyone says tastes like cardboard...I like the taste, is that wrong? that doesn't mean I eat as healthy as I should...)
6. I literally freak out if I can't shower at least once a day, or if I run out of my soap/other hygiene products.
7. Most people find me rather boring, if you're still reading this, congratulations, I love you!

Elvis Presley, David Bowie, Jimmy Page, Janis Joplin, Dave Matthews, Dave Grohl, Michael Stipe, Annie Lennox, Beth Gibbons (of Portishead), Sade, Esthero, Marianne Faithfull, Eddie Vedder, John Denver, Jimmy Buffet, Rod Stewart, Pat Benetar, Dolly Parton, Joan Baez, John Paul Jones, and Lars Ulrich all say I'm being typically Capricornian when I engage in music somehow.

I good at psychology and biology- don't know if anyone of you've noticed this, but a helluvalotta sags go into psychology. Half of the sags I know are doing psychology-seriously. Lol and I have a talent for mesmerizing people by talking Bull$h!+. Doesn't work well when I talk online though. And pulling funny things out of the air. I'm good at that.

When I'm analyzing some thought that floors me, when I'm bored and want to be somewhere else, and when I say something I shouldn't have which is often, and yes when I'm reading something political or psychological

I have a smart Sag friend who probably believes the same thing, only in his case I don't find it true at all. (I had to put 'smart' in there to establish that he's no idiot. He's just obscure in what he finds funny. He's the only one who laughs at what he says unless he's riffing off someone else's joke.)

I can see that happening actually AG; actually I know two sags like the one you described. They lose their composure very quickly, breaking into a fit of laughter while talking to another person. I'm the only other person laughing though, because I unlike other people get what they're laughing at. I think its because Sags have a very abstract sense of humour, they can see something funny in practically anything by altering their perspective, whereas an Aries or Scorpio for example, needs something very concrete otherwise they won't find it funny at all- something with a 'zing' to it. I find virgos to be somewhat similar in this respect, the abstract sense of humour. What do you guys think?

I'm a solar Libra with a strong Taurean moon and Scorpion-burdened first house; so much of my gentler Libran character is obscured from time to time by these bullies of the zodiac. But having both the sun and moon ruled by Venus, which culminates in the 10th, conjunct the north node, and serves as the chart's final dispositor, when the goddess of love, art, and beauty does come through she does so with a vengeance.

One of my favourite hobbies is the art of natural perfumery. I have a vast collection of essential oils and precious plant materials and innumerable lovely vintage bottles and compacts which are to be filled with the end product. This is a very romantic and Libran pastime, one might think; but my whole life I have attributed the interest to Uranus rising coupled with a Venus-Neptune trine, suggesting a flair for alchemy, if you will. As a child I always loved to play mad scientist and whip up "magic potions." With maturity, a once innocent and fanciful hobby has blossomed into a fruitful and sensuous avocation. My enjoyment of the work is still coloured by Uranus and Neptune, but the pleasure I derive from its completion is now a full expression of Venus.

I possess the indecisive trait which is notorious of Libra, but a powerful Scorpio influence goads me to fix myself to my convictions once they are known to me. The Keirsey Temperament Sorter failed me miserably, as I always came out evenly split (dead even!) between F/T and J/P!

I can be quite charming and coquettish, as most Libras are wont to be, garnering the attention and admiration of men simply to have it, despite being in a fulfilling and committed relationship.

Pluto and Mars rising prohibit me from ever shrinking in the face of necessary confrontation, but my inner Libra hates to argue for the sake of argument. In fact I become quiet uneasy to think that I have offended or made an unflattering impression on someone. The ascendant and Mercury opposed a 7th house Venus-ruled moon only tighten the nerves in these matters.

While I am voluptuous in the pursuit of pleasure, beauty, and art, a shameful flirt on occasion, deliberate to a fault, and genuinely peace-loving, I feel most the Libran paragon when on one of my more self-righteous kicks. Oh yes, Libra has an ugly side too. When my morals or reason have been offended, I will avenge them with fury. Scorpio gets the bad rap when it comes to being vindictive and vengeful, but Libra, being obsessed as she is with equality and cosmic balance, is also sometimes too eager to "even" the score. My Scorpio is much more passive and subtle in this regard; when the feeling is most desperate, there is no mistaking that it comes from a self-perceived "higher" place. I must then remind myself that mercy should be the true Libran way.

Ah a thread with lots of lists Hello, Virgos...

I am a Scorpio and when I do the following, I envitable think: "stop being such a Scorpio." (I've put it in list form for all of you virgos )

1. Someone says something that gets me thinking about their *real* intentions.

2. I remember an article I read that vaguely touched on the subject at hand.

3.And then there was that time that my mother (best friend, ex, brother, etc) told me about the time someone said something remotely vaguely similar and "X" happened to them.

4. Which reminds me that when I was in highschool my first love did something not really similar but could fit the pattern and he broke my heart. *emo*

5. *project into the future if I don't react exactly the right way now, I could find myself repeating the same pattern and that 'could' end up setting myself up for future incidents or not?*

6. *tell myself* Oh shut up and stop being such a Scorp.

7. *Puts entire thought process into my "secret" brain compartment to let incubate until needed again.

8.etc, etc,etc....

Peace: I wouldn't mind at all...

Those are the steps my mind takes when pondering a situation and when I know I am digging deeper into Scorp mind-think. There is a tendancy to over-analyze

I'm a Libra and I love to be the peacekeeper. I sometimes feel like Rodney King in that I'm thinking "Why can't we all just get along?" I wonder if he's a Libra?
UPDATE: I checked and he's an Aries.

Oh, and I am really bad about soliciting others' opinions and either not following their opinions or letting them confuse my own gut feelings. This to me is a very Libran trait.

Too funny! I'm a Cancer sun and have always had a natural talent for cooking even as a child. I find it amusing because I was such an astrological skeptic in my early years, but one good read of Linda Goodman’s Star Signs’ description of Cancers convinced me that there might be something to this whole astrology thing. Especially the part where she talks about how Cancer girls might even think they are bad cooks, despite their obvious skill. I’m not Betty Crocker by any means, but I do really enjoy cooking especially for people I care about.

especially laughing A LOT (cheek busters) at the weirdest times at things afterthefact - i especially use to do that a lot when i was in high school. it would be quiet in class and i would laugh at something said, done, saw and my mind decided to replay it at that particular moment. i don't know how to explain it. if someone asked - what was funny - i would laugh even harder, gasping for air, while trying to explain - over the years, i nix the explaining part. my gram is a sag too - so forget it, if we are out somewhere, we both always happen to catch the funniest thing at the same time - if one of us starts laughing, we both are laughing without having to explain to one another what was so funny. that laughing thing can get me in trouble one of these days. i'll laugh at someone who is adament about something and their face changes - like they are ****** at someone for something (i'm laughing now at the thought) - cappies and scorps are the funniest with stuff like that because they are so passionate. i guess that would add rude to the list, as well but what the heck!

Hmm, I'm a Scorpio andddd...

-I love to research things. I'll even research in circles sometimes because "there's always something I missed, or always something deeper"

-When I first meet people, I either love them or hate them.

-I believe strongly in alterior motives and hidden agendas, because I myself have a *cornucopia* of hidden agendas..

-I don't like to express my emotions, it makes me feel weak.

- I'm a very deep thinker, and I'm fascinated by the concepts of Life and Death...and Taxes

-I'm DANGEROUSLY vindictive. To the point where I'm sure I'm going to hell.

-I'd die for the ones I love, without a second's hesitation.

- I really like to stare at things.. too bad they don't like to stare back. I hate it when I don't get eye contact with people. lol

- If I get angry(and I've only gotten "angry" twice in my life), I become terrified of myself because my rage is so strong, it's like I'm not human anymore. And I can't feel anything, physically, or emotionally. A force not to be reckoned with. HOWEVER, I don't have a short temper.

- Every 12 to 18 months, I completely "reevaluate my life". I drop friends, I EXTREME diet, I chop off hair, I change values, I change needs, phone numbers, political parties, and wants. I've been told I look completely different about every year. Pluto's in my 1st house conjunct my Sun, Ascendant, and Venus. That regenerative effect on me is HUGE.
--------

I have a lot of traits that aren't very Plutonian, even though I'm very much dominated by Pluto. I make friends very easily, usually when people meet me they like me offhand. I love to talk, I can't keep my own secrets and I often rat myself out.

could be the 3 singletons in my chart, acting out.
