Hello...

I'm a new member here and I'm Hank Campbell.

But I have a question...I have 4 planets (Sun, Venus, Jupiter, & Saturn) in the 8th House and the first three positively aspected to Pluto. Can you all tell me how it will affect my persona or my life?

Hank Campbell
Far Rockaway, Queens, NYC

(PS: The reason I'm asking this is because I'm concerned about myself and I'm looking for someone's opinion.)

Hello Mr.Hank!
I love that username- it's so authorative! Haha.

Okie doke- well, I'm only a novice in astrology, but I'll tell you this-
I also have sun in 8th house and I find it to be one of my best placements, but that's only since I enjoy being sex-obsessed. It usually makes the person quite sexual, as whichever house your sun is placed in is how you express yourself. The 8th house, being the house of Scorpio signifies sex, occult and I think, death and rebirth. So if you have your sun there you'll probably be drawn to unusual pastimes or occult and you're likely to be a fan of sex too!
HOWEVER, you have your Venus Jupiter and Saturn there too. I'm pretty sure wherever Saturn is indicates some problems in that area of your life too, perhaps inhibitions, as a contrast. Again, back to the good side, your Jupiter and Venus there should show that this is also an area of your life where you enjoy yourself very much and take great pleasure in....

I'm concerned that you're concerned though.... is there maybe something else aspecting these to make them express themselves in a bad way in your chart? Or are these conflicting feelings the problem?

Maybe you could post your chart/birth details for someone to take a look at?

Sun in the Eighth House

This position gives sexuality a very physical form and makes tangible intimacy very important to you.

Because of your talent for intuition, you may have considerable subliminal power over others, so that you can control them without their knowledge. You must always be careful to use this "animal magnetism," which may be more or less psychic, in ways that do not take undue advantage of your partner or that get you into needless power games.

You may be attracted to a lover who is considerably older or younger than yourself, a situation in which one partner is a good deal more experienced and teaches the other. But no matter who you are involved with, intensity is your key word.

Hope this helps too.

What a beautiful chart. You have great magnetism, you are deeply spiritual, very funny, but you take your work seriously. What a rich imagination and what a passionate soul, just watchout for your lack of air planets, they may lead you getting bogged down or too emotional without considering practical/logical factors, you have to learn to see the bigger picture sometimes, not get caught up in your ego/emotions. Have fun

Just by looking up what i could - i found this but at this very moment after posting all this, i'm probably telling you things you already know about but don't seem to console you in the matter you are concerned about / i'm wondering since you brought up 8th house that your concern with yourself are along the lines of sexuality, death, rebirth, inheritance going on with you - it's one of those, i'm guessing - either way, since i already typed it already - oh, by the way, since Scorpio is the ruler of the eigth house, if you could, post what house it's in on your chart, what planets are in there, and the aspects / that's if you are interested in getting to the bottom line - p.s. you aren't like an assassin or anything like that, are you? (please don't confuse my sadistic interest for sarcasm):

SUN IN 8th HOUSE - With the Sun in the 8th house, it is through emotional and financial exchange and sharing that you will seek to establish your own identity and sense of individuality. You will have a need to merge your own emotions, or financial and material possessions with others, and it is through such partnerships that you can establish your own place and sense of self-worth. You will probably have a great fascination for all things occult or hidden, realising even if only unconsciously, that no man (or woman) is an island and that all individuals are linked by forces and powers that we can only dimly perceive. It is this inner feeling that urges you to share on a deep level with others. However, you may react by refusing to let go of what is yours, and become deeply possessive out of a fear of losing your own sense of individuality and self-determination.

(the sun is now in scorpio - i believe scorpio is also the ruler of the 8th house but i'm not completely sure)

VENUS IN 8th HOUSE - Venus in the 8th house of your chart indicates that you will seek a deep and transforming quality in your relationships. It is through relationships and sharing with others on an emotional level that you will be confronted with your own hidden needs and fears, often after suffering some pain through misplaced affection, especially if Venus is in a stressful aspect. This is a good position for business partnerships, and you may benefit financially through a relationship. On the other hand, any difficult aspects to Venus in this house can have the opposite effect, bringing you financial difficulties as a result of your relationships. You will have a love for what is deep and esoteric, with the urge to penetrate beyond surface appearances to reveal hidden meanings and motivations.

(Venus, I believe, just moved into capricorn this past weekend so if you could check where capricorn is in your chart - you may be able to find where that's stressing it's affect in your life and beyond)

JUPITER IN 8th HOUSE - With Jupiter in the 8th house, you will seek a philosophical understanding of the deep emotional attachments and desires that bind people together. You believe that the expression of these emotions and attachments, through sex and the sharing of mutual resources, to be symbolic of a deeper need to transcend the limitations of individual existence by uniting on a deeper level with another. You may regard sex as primarily a spiritual rather than a physical urge, an expression of a deeper force that unites us all. On the other hand you may have difficulty in reconciling your own sexual desires with your religious or philosophical beliefs, as a result of centuries of conditioning by European Christianity which has always placed sexual and spiritual at opposite ends of the moral spectrum. You may regard death as the doorway to a wider and more inclusive level of being, rather than the end of existence. Even if your intellectual conditioning prevents you from accepting this proposition, you will at least have the desire to examine such concepts and beliefs more closely.

This is a good position for business partnerships, or any endeavour which requires the sharing of resources, even if this simply means sharing your understanding and insight. At some time in your life, someone else’s money may provide you with the opportunity you need to further, or bring to fruition, some important project you are working on.

(p.s. also take note that jupiter is in scorpio - retrograde at that so that could also be squeezing/hugging you a bit)

Saturn in the 8th House: You're often involved in your partner's finances, corporate money, insurance, taxes or inheritance in some way that entails responsibility or, if afflicted, litigation. You must develop a sense of justice since you're accountable for others' property. If afflicted, you may be denied a rightful inheritance, have to pay heavy taxes, etc. You have deep spiritual insight into life's mysteries if well aspected to Uranus, Neptune or Pluto. If you lack spiritual values, you may fear death and, if afflicted, your death may be caused by a long-term illness. You may marry a poor person, creating a financial burden, and often have marital problems or financial problems in business. You may be restricted in your career due to lack of capital. Money doesn't come easy, but you know how to keep it when you get it. You have a strong sensuality that may need restraining or a serious, somewhat inhibited attitude to sex. You'll probably live to a ripe old age.

(p.s. saturn is currently in leo so wherever leo is in your chart, you can check out how that's going for you)

Pluto Aspecting the Sun: Gives power, intensity. The stressful aspects (conjunction, square, and opposition) mean that others will have an instant reaction to you. They will like you or hate you on sight and will not be able to say why. It’s just a gut reaction that this combination brings about. All Pluto aspects to the Sun will give you good ability as a healer (doctor or psychotherapist). They also can make you a good detective. No planet better than Pluto when it comes to finding out secrets.

Pluto Aspecting Venus: Stressful aspects of Pluto to Venus gives a tendency to lowered blood sugar (hypoglycemia). The other aspects that can do this are stressful ones from Venus to Saturn or Uranus. Doris Hebel first pointed this out in a 1976 lecture. With Pluto aspecting Venus, you don’t fall in love half way. It’s all or nothing. The highest or the lowest. I have seen several charts of prostitutes with this combination. No, this doesn’t mean that everyone who has this aspect will sell sex. It means that they have gone with the Pluto and rejected Venus. Pluto, ruler of Scorpio, wants to be strong and in control. It loathes weakness. Venus is our ability to express our softer feelings as well as our capacity to experience pleasure and be happy. Go with the Pluto and you always want to be in control and dominate. You will do something nasty to those you love every time they make you happy because happiness is experienced as vulnerability. Of course, if you choose this route, you will never be happy. The other way is keep everything charming and in good taste, rejecting the volcanic emotions underneath. In that case, you will also tend to be attracted to seedy low-life types and hate yourself for it. And, of course, you will never experience passion.

Hank,

With Pluto (transformation, also power) focused in the 9th house (expansion) sextile (energy goes easily with) a stellium (collection of energy) focused in the 8th house (transformation, also power), POWER is the word of the day. However, with Saturn (duty, also restriction) also focused in the 8th house, you may feel in some way restricted in your power or feel an importance in using your power responsibly. Just remember...a little power goes a LONG way!

To Amisha121877> I have the Scorpio (which rules in the 8th house) in the Uranus planet. Plus Leo is in the 8th House Cusp.

I'm focusing on my sex life...because I'm currently single and they may be a sexual past somewhere that concerns me...

PS: This is for Amisha in case she didn't get this post...and I'm not an assassin

My mom is a Leo/Sag Rising/Cappy Moon and she also has 3 or 4 planets in VIII house.

I can say that her VIII house stellium makes her much more quiet and reserved (in a good way) than other leos are, but deep inside she is very strong and powerful. She does not need attention and admiration as other Leos do but she always needs to be and she actually is in control; though it is a very subtle, kind of imperceptible (and wise) control.

I would say, this placement(+ Pluto aspects) endues you with scorpionic traits.

Sun - Taurus
Moon - Sag
ASC - Cappy

well, well, well - happy to see you again misterhank. have me here drawing a chart now to be sure - whew, lol, i'ma get youuuuu.....drawing is NOT my arena (neither is the ever so collegiate, reading charts) so i'm going to tell you what i thought of when i figured that you must might come back and after skimming over the aspects. can tell, for some reason that mister in misterhank makes you smirk somewhere vainly in you. that's okay. you work A LOT although you don't make it look like it's hard work on you, may have attraction to clients/fans/employees (????) - actually, very sexually attracted to them...... but not inclined to go as far as jeopardizing what you have for them / being present with them is enough.....struggling with it, i think - not sure if it's more so because they don't live up to the standards you live now, if you actually want to see what it would be like but don't want it to interfere with your "image" (or vice-versa but the latter plays a heavier part in it) or you don't want things to be different between the two of you and lose the element of being "boss" or where exactly you are boss with them and they are boss with you, maybe it's because you've been "there" before and don't have a desire to be reminded of it or go back to it or maybe you feel it just doesn’t or won't click with the lifestyle you have? do they "inspire" you somehow? do you attract argumentative people? I don't know man. You are more of an observer than a speaker which carries it's own volume / as far as speaking what you observe rather than what you feel - well, not inclined to speak on your own personal matters, especially any sentitive aspects of your past or what bothers you personally.

i have to get back to you on the aspects (researching those are what i'm really best at) you left but i hope that some of what i said is helpful or rings true for you somehow otherwise i definitely do NOT need to quit my day job.

p.s. lol, the assassin thing was a poor attempt at feeling you out

What you told me really shocked me...

I think 2/3 of what you say is true. One is my past life and the other one is I'm unemployed currently.

The additional element is the fact that I'm an independent loner and I feel that relationships (mainly romantically) are out of the question...because they don't have the same image as mine.

To all> Thanks for letting me feel welcome here. I, too, is also interested in astrology, but I rather find help from here. You all are experts (or beginners, whichever comes first) in this area.
