Sun (self-expression) trine (energy goes very easily with) Neptune (spirituality) indicates a person who expresses themselves to others in a spiritual, interconnected way. This could be a challenge because the person could seem an "easy mark" to people who are looking to deceive others. If Neptune is retrograde, there will be a challenge in expressing Neptune energy, forcing the person to work on expressing that energy. Over time, the expression of Neptune energy will become stronger as the person works on expressing it.
