I've read that the 12th house represents past lives.Since I'm an Arie Asc.,Pisces is North Node in my 12th house.Does that mean that I was a Pisces in my former life?.IP: Logged |

I would rather say south node, retrograde planets, IC and 12th house altogether represent your past lives.I have SN in Aries I dont think it means I was Aries by Sun sign I just must have had prominent Arian traits. 12th house represents something hidden from you: the subconscious mind, hidden resources, hidden problems, etc so I think it has something to do with your past lives maybe it represents unresolved problems from your past you are not aware of in this life. Sign on the cusp (if you have no planets there) can be of great help. e.g. I have Sag on the cusp of 12th house and no planets there. So it means that I (may) miss chances and opportunities in life only because I always wait for something better and as a result I have nothing. etc planets in 12th house descriptions: http://www.dkfoundation.co.uk/BookKarmaHouse12.htm IP: Logged |

More clues: In “Secrets of a Stargazer´s Notebook”, the author points the places in a chart where clues about karma and past/future lives are hidden:
- Moon position by house and sign
Where you have many talents from past lives. You do this things automatically as breathing. The house shows what those things are and the sign the style in which you do them. Moon in the 6th could point to a slave, a servant, a housewife, a nurse, a handyman, a cook, a high rank official... Possibilities are endless... - Aspects to the Moon
Hard aspects (squares and oppositions) show bad habits or bad deeds from past lifetimes to compensate and you may be paying for. For example a Moon-Uranus opposition could mean a tendency to antagonise others and rebel that need to be compensated, maybe originated in a past life when being under the thumb... You could have been a gladiator in the Imperial Rome or a peasant in French revolution and rebelious behaviour originated then could be giving you problems now... Easy aspects (sextiles and trines) show talents aquired in past lives, good deeds, good luck you earnt in other lifetimes, your gifts. A Moon-Venus trine could point you loved someone very much, you sacrificed for love and now love is returned to you, so you are easily loved by everyone around you. - Saturn position
Shows where your pain and fears started in a previous lifetime, what hurt you so much then that you had to close off and quit trying. If Saturn makes hard angles, your past-life fears are probaby getting in the way of whatever you are trying to express with that planet. For example, Saturn squaring Mars in a man´s chart could show that something in a past life gets in the way of expressing his sexy manhood. - 12th house
The sign on the cusp[/] shows the kind of person you used to be. [I]The ruler of that sign shows what you remember. The house where the ruler of the 12th is placed shows the area of life that memory affects. For example, if Capricorn is on the 12th, you remember work, responsibility, and hard times (Saturn). You problably were ambitious, powerful, melancholic and maybe felt inadequate. If Saturn is in the 3rd house, you feel frightened and guilty, maybe inadequate, in the way you speak or communicate.
