There's a guy I like who's birthdate is 5/30/76 (venus in Gemini) and my birthdate is 10/29/64 (I know I'm the older one there, lol). I have been reading that Gemini's is the life of a party and a social being.Well, this guy is very charming in his office with me, and very talkative. But once he walks into the hall he's not as talkative. And according to the girls in the office, he doesn't talk to them much at all and stays to himself most of the time. From what I know of him, he's very charasmatic and appears to be very confident one on one with me. Aren't Gemini's supposed to be social butterflies? Or am reading too much into the Gemini personality aspects? IP: Logged |

He probably has a more reserved ascendant (earth or water.)IP: Logged |

Leo ASC...Fire sign. Does that make any difference? If so, what may I ask? IP: Logged |

I'm a Gem girl w/a Virgo asc and I must say that I am reserved until I know you. if I don't know you I don't talk to you @ all. Gem guys are alot of fun, but you have to be careful because many have short attn spans and are very challenging to deal with. They are very unpredicatble and blow hot and cold @ the drop of a dime. I know because I can be that way. Enjoy him, but DEF do your own thing. Don't get too caught up in him and be a little mysterious. Lots of Gewm men like intrigue. The more they have to figure out about a woman, the more interested they are. Good Luck and have fun! ------------------ Before you speak, ask yourself, is it kind, is it necessary, is it true, does it improve on the silence? -Sai Baba IP: Logged |

I had a friend who was Gemini with a Leo asc, but female. He probably loves attention, but try and leave a little mystery IP: Logged |

Aw. That reminds me of Sam. He's a guy who goes to my school. He's a double Gemini (Sun/Moon) with an Aquarius Rising. He's really fun though, when you actually start talking to him.IP: Logged |

What's more important, the Sun sign or the rising sign? Him Rising sign is Leo Sun sign - Gemini Moon in Cancer Mercury in Taurus Venus in Gemini Mars in Leo Jup. in Taurus Saturn in Cancer Uran. in Scorpio Nept in Sagit. Pluto in Libra Me Rising in Libra Sun in Scorpio Moon in Leo Mercury in Scorpio Venus in Virgo Mars in Leo Jup. in Taurus Saturn in Aquar. Uranus in Virgo Nept in Scorpio Pluto in Virgo I read Libra rising and boy does that sound more like me than a Scorpio. I always seek approval, like a Libra. Our Sun signs aren't the best for compatibility, but our rising signs are great, his rising with my sun and my rising with his sun is fine too..just the two sun signs are not the greatest. Anyone's thoughts before I decide to go for him? He IS chatty in his office but not in the hall or front office area. Thanks in advance! IP: Logged |

You know what's interesting is that you're not the only Scorp/Libra with a Gem man. Of course, I think you guys should find a nice Cappy with a Gem ascendant. IP: Logged |

I think its his cancer moon, cancer moons like getting into their environment, where they get comfy and then they start talking, and behaving in a more normal fashion.Cancer moon people are generally thought of as shy at first sight, util their real sun sign comes, its a total contrast..and with a gem sun,it is very radical, almost like two different people...Which adds to more confusion as we gems already have 10 of us inside us.... Just my views,Maybe the astro gurus can throw more light.. IP: Logged |

Oh, just noticed...little correction. His rising is not actually good with your Sun. It's a square. It IS good or even excellent with your Moon, though, and it's nice with your ascendant as well.IP: Logged |

One of my good friends is Gem Sun conj Venus, Cancer Moon in VIII and Scorp Rising. He is very quiet and not talkative at all until you are close friends with him. He is very charismatic and sweet and girls usually find him very attractive. Despite his Gemini Venus, he is head over heels in love with his girlfriend (Sun - Sag, Moon conj Pluto in Libra, Venus in Scorp, ASC - unknown) and it is he who wants to settle down and have kids. He has been chasing her for about 2 years already, and he is faithful to her though not of his own volition (He told me that she drove him insane and he had wanted to fall in love with someone else many times). He likes a good company but he isn't a social butterfly at all. LOL Donnalee, this guy's birthday is 31 May 1976 very close to your guy! IP: Logged |

To AcousticGod,His rising is a Leo, and my Sun is a Scorpio. From what I read, that is a good match...or rather, can be. You say it's not, why is that? IP: Logged |

Leo - Scorpio is squared to each other. Leo is too arrogant (proud) for Scorpio and so Scorpio can't resist poking and making fun of Leo which Leo will not like. It's generally a poor match at best. Lots of sexual attraction though... But, in your case, you have other combination that counters this negative aspect so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just be aware that his Leo side likes his ego stroked every so often... then again, which of the male species don't? IP: Logged |

my gem friend with a cap moon is the most resreved one even among the shy cancers .very adoptable but i can't categorise him as a social butterfly . another gem friend with a cancer asc . is quite outgoing but then with a very reserved air . gem as a sign might be known as a social butterfly but it sure can't apply to all .
