Do you think our phobias may be read in our natal charts? Here I do not mean any major mental diseases but rather something trivial like, for example, I'm afraid of roaches while someone else may hate elevators... What do you think show such phobias in charts? 12 hs? ------------------ Sun in Gemini AC in Leo Moon in Pisces IP: Logged |

In traditional astrology, the Twelfth House represents your self-undoing, hidden matters and the subconscious process. It is believed that we carry karmic memories in our subconscious, and that these subconscious memories can undermine our current life efforts.Saturn is our karmic debt Jupiter is a karmic gift Nodes is a doorway from your past life to your current one. The Moon represents the past and habits in a more general sense or it can also represent what we need for the future if its qualities are more in agreement with the qualities of the north node. Planets in a horoscope chart which are marked as being in retrograde motion, hide or reverse the true energy of that planet. Black Moon Lilith placement (its house, sign and degree) should be taken into consideration when all types of phobias and fears are to be explained. People that were born on any of Hecate days or have Hecate in their VIII or XII house are prone to phobias and fears. (the Greeks observed two days sacred to Hecate: the Moon of Hecate on the 13th of August and the Day of Hecate at the Crossroads on the 30th of November. The Romans observed the 29th of every month as her sacred day.) + there are 'special' medical degrees (fixed stars placements) Taken from 'Medical astrology' by L. Nazarova. Schizophrenia, cleptomania indicator: Mars or Mercury at 21°26' Gemini, Capella (in 1970) Mania, phobia indicator: Mars or Saturn at 9°21' Sagittaruis, Antares (in 1970) Suicide, dementia, poisoning, narcomania indicator: Saturn or Neptune or BML at 25°45'Tautus - Algol (in 1970) Dementia indicator: Mars or Moon at 7°27' Taurus, Hamal (in 1970) etc. edit* oops, lol I didn't mean anything trivial sorry I am very inattentive sometimes.

And *this* is such an intelligent reply? Low blow, Peri. Really, really low. And very transparent. We have a saying in the US: those who live in glass houses should not throw stones. That means, don't pick fault with someone else when it makes your own faults obvious. IP: Logged |

Oh, there's definitely some things which would contribute to having phobias or amplify fears. My chart ( www.jkansoft.net/mychart.gif for anyone really interested has quite a few of them...)- sun square pluto - phobias related to exposure/control, inner power struggles - lots of planets in the 12th house (in my case, moon conjunct mercury conjunct neptune, with the moon/merc being in detriment/fall in Cap (extreme sensitivy, overwhelming feelings, depression-prone) - the moon/mercury conjunct neptune is said to give overwhelming sensitivity+cause information overloads, so that could work toward developing social phobias? - saturn in scorpio aids in developing self-destructive patterns and compulsions/obsessions - saturn opposition north node, not good for associating in general? Peri's post seemed pretty thorough on specific influences. The 12th house is definitely to blame for psychological upsets. Somewhere there was talk about Uranus squaring the AC as a contributor to schitzophrenia. IP: Logged |

TY for the 1st post PeriI missed the pic but in any event..why mention Ukraine?.. what if she had USA for her location? The 1940s? Stalinism? Communism? The war? Anything else I’m missing in the 40s? I’m so lost right now. This thread was about phobias last time I checked..and the forum about Astrology. Politics go to GU and I hope they stay there. I honestly doubt Peri would be making some kind of political reference on this particular thread.

hey Jkxx Your ASC conj my ASC exactly by degree! Speaking about your self-destructive patterns and inner struggles, you know what is interesting? you do have NN in the IV house! Among other things, IV house rules subconscious mind and inner world. So this is something you may have to work on/face. quote: By working on our inner foundation and our "base", success will ricochet back to our public and professional lives. By allowing ourselves to follow our personal instincts, rather than be driven by our ambitions, we can achieve greater happiness, balance, and fulfillment in all areas of life.

Hi Peri, thanks a bunch for the NN info! I'd never focused on it much in the past, but the advice makes a lot of sense, especially as of late. Don't recall knowing anyone else with that ASC either, so that should be fun -jk IP: Logged |

I can deffinitely back up the Sun square Pluto fears theory. I also have Sun square Pluto and have serious control based fear issues. I have a very hard time trusting, and spent a lot of time trying to predict interpersonal disasters before they happen which could make me seem quite paranoid if I didn't work to check it. My chart also has Saturn square my Moon and Mars. That kind of restrictive energy might also fuel the fires of my fears. Being a Cancer doesn't help either. We're known for having 1001 fears and insecurities. IP: Logged |
