** Your Starcast for November 22-December 20**

With the Sun in fun-loving Sagittarius, adventure is all but guaranteed ... and the friendly good times keep rolling later this astrological month, as Mercury joins the Archer's party. Indeed, celebration will be the order of the day as two planetary retrogrades -- Mercury's and Mars's -- come to an end. Keep reading for the full scoop on this thrill-seeking, inhibition-dropping month!

November 22: Sun into Sagittarius
Every planet has favorite signs. In the case of the Sun, since it's really nothing if not a ball of fire, the fire signs dominate that list. Sagittarius is a fire sign, but in some ways, it's more controlled than Aries and Leo -- more able to channel its energy. So when the Sun passes through this sign every year, we're all definitely feistier as a result of its fiery influence, but we're also able to direct our enthusiasm toward productive ends. For the next month, then, it's your job to aim your boundless energy in a fruitful direction. Take a class, go trekking through Nepal (or anywhere else you've always wanted to explore) or get yourself out where kindred spirits gather. Regardless of how you do it, have an adventure. That's absolutely mandatory. Besides, exploring will be great fun, and that's just as important now.

November 24: Sun conjunct Mercury
The Sun is the big kahuna in our corner of the universe -- after all, they don't call it a 'solar' system for nothing -- so he can't help but train his traveling spotlight on every planet he encounters. At the moment, it's chatty Mercury who'll be meeting up with the Sun, which means that every word you utter -- or any of us utters, for that matter -- will come across in a great big, public way, with lots of oomph and even more Sagittarian enthusiasm. Before you speak, then, better consider just how much influence your words will carry. And before you decide to be silent, consider the opportunity you'll be passing up. Sure, it's quite a decision. But aren't all of history's great quotations repeated because they were potent, appropriate and well timed?

November 28: Sun square Uranus
There's only one thing that can ever be safely said about Uranus: One never knows what he's got up his sleeve. That's exciting for those of us who enjoy unpredictability, and scary for those of us who don't. At the moment, however, everyone had better be prepared, because Uranus will connect with the Sun today in a square -- the aspect most likely to cause arguments. If your sweetheart seems testy, or if you're feeling a bit touchier than usual yourself, write it off to this pair. Remember, though, that there are productive uses for the energy you're feeling. Try something new, end something definitively or fight City Hall for an important cause. Whatever it is, do it with your whole heart and your entire spirit.

December 1: New Moon in Sagittarius
Talk about a good time! The Sun and Moon, the heavens' brightest lights, will come together today in merry, fun-loving, optimistic Sagittarius. With these two so close, there's no way things can't go your way. If you've got a social event planned, it's definitely going to be fun, interesting and memorable. And if you don't, a few friends who just happen to 'stop by' may be the start of an impromptu gathering that will turn out even better than you could possibly have planned. More importantly, if you've been thinking of embarking on a trip, taking up a new educational pursuit or connecting with a spiritual or metaphysical group, there's no better time to do it.

This new Moon will most affect Sagittarians born November 30-December 4, Pisces born February 26-March 2, Geminis born May 29-June 2 and Virgos born August 31-September 4.

December 3: Sun trine Saturn, Mercury Stationary Direct
All's well that ends well -- at the moment, anyway. The Sun and Saturn, the heavens' most respected authority figures, will get together today in an easy, cooperative trine. The resulting energy is the stuff that resolutions are made of, from major-league treaties to the end of family squabbles. To make things even better, Mercury, ruler of all things communication- and travel-related, will finally do an about-face, after three long and aggravating weeks in retrograde. In a nutshell, today marks the beginning of the end for any frustration, irritation and stagnation you've been enduring. Congratulate yourself -- and any loved ones who've also been through the mill -- and do a bit of celebrating.

December 7: Sun sextile Neptune
Dreams? Oh, yes. Big dreams -- and lots of them. The Sun is in Sagittarius, the sign that most loves doing it up ... and doing it up big. This energetic fireball is set to connect with Neptune, the planet that's responsible for all things dreamy, romantic and spiritual. Heaven help you if you're off to Vegas, because self-control will be out of the question. If you're homebound, feeling reckless and game for just about anything, don't beat yourself up about it. We're all feeling that way. Instead, get in touch with your favorite playmate and talk them into doing something just a tad bolder and more daring than either of you is used to.

December 9: Mars Stationary Direct
After more than two months in retrograde -- creating the illusion of moving backward -- assertive Mars is moving forward once again. Your lingering feelings of frustration? Those tasks that seem to keep rearing their little heads? Get ready to bid them farewell. The even better news is that you'll also be in an excellent position to make use of the powerful hindsight you've gained from Mars's retrograde journey. As it plays catch-up to get where it should be, the action planet is going to cover the same piece of sky it has already traveled twice. Get ready to pick up the ambitions and projects you've put aside lately and throw your newfound focus and precision their way. Full steam ahead!

December 10: Mercury sextile Venus
Shrewd appraisal of all things love and money is the order of the day when cerebral Mercury meets pleasure-loving Venus! If you've been considering a big purchase, or are ready to weigh a less tangible affair of the heart, there's no time like the present to make your move. You know what you want, and you can effortlessly weed out anything that simply doesn't fit the bill.

December 12: Mercury into Sagittarius
After weeks in serious Scorpio -- the most intense sign of them all -- chatty, cerebral Mercury will change costumes today, opting for something more lighthearted and comical: fun-loving, adventurous Sagittarius. For the next few weeks, out-of-town friends will be your focus, and laughter will come easily. Expect to meet at least one new admirer with a wonderful accent and a whole pack of interesting stories to tell. Better rest up when you can though. This transit's never let anyone get much downtime -- but why would you want to sleep through it, anyway?

December 15: Venus into Aquarius, Full Moon in Gemini
Two interesting planetary events will make this quite a memorable day. First off, Venus, the purveyor of love, romance and all sensory pleasures, will set off for Aquarius, who's never been terribly interested in the conservative or 'normal,' by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, when Venus is in Aquarius, it's not uncommon for us to take up with someone we never, ever thought we'd be interested in -- especially if it seems like that relationship will shock and amaze the masses. Just be sure you're careful, and aren't simply reacting to the second planetary event of the day: the full Moon in Gemini. That meeting of the Sun and Moon will urge us all to explore something new and different -- and yes, that goes for investigating people too!

This full Moon will most affect Sagittarians born December 15-19, Pisces born March 13-17, Geminis born June 14-18 and Virgos born Sept 15-19.

December 18: Mercury square Uranus
As if Mercury in perpetually curious Sagittarius weren't enough to inspire us to try something new, we're getting an even better excuse to let go of anything resembling an inhibition. In fact, you'll automatically rethink your response to any question that would ordinarily elicit an 'I probably shouldn't ....' This doesn't mean that you're going to get into trouble, but it may mean that you're about to have some extremely unusual experiences. Let your conscience -- and your common sense -- be your guide, and have some fun!

Enjoy the Sun's transit of Sagittarius!

Oh boy...this is going to be a biggie for me. That moon with be between my Gem Sun and Merc conjunction on the MC! And the moon'll be trining my Uranus and my Mars is in Aqua. I also get um, strange, when Venus is in Aqua too.

My Birthday is also on the mystical day of December 7th. Plus my sun is conjunct Neptune, so the sun sextile Neptune should be nice for me. I love being a Sag!!!!!
The part about our incurable optimism is so so true. Linda Goodman always called the female Archers regular Pollyana's with foot in mouth syndrome- which is definetly a good description of myself. Yet still I thank my lucky stars that I'm a SAG!!!!!!!
