NEW MOON REMINDER... TWO NEW MOONS OCCUR DURING DECEMBER! Don’t miss these opportunities to make wishes for experiences you’d like to have.

THE FIRST NEW MOON: Thursday, December 1, 10:01 am, Eastern Standard Time.

Because this New Moon is in the sign of SAGITTARIUS, it’s a powerful time for new beginnings especially in the area of including desired foreign travel into your plans: either taking a vacation to a foreign country, or beginning a program of foreign travel in the mind. This could include experiencing meditation, a spiritual retreat, involving yourself in the activities of your church or temple; or taking a class in philosophy. Things you may have wanted to happen in your life for a long time can begin easily manifesting through using the boost of this adventurous, optimistic New Moon! For suggested wording of your wishes, consult the New Moon Power Days column in the member section.

For success, your wishes must be handwritten on paper and ten wishes maximum are allowed on each power day. The most potent time is the first 8 hours AFTER the exact time of the New Moon; within the first 48 hours will still work. The potency continues to exist for another twelve hours, but is weaker. For clear success, its best to avoid wishing during those hours when the Moon is Void of Course.

Therefore DECEMBER 1, 2005, your most potent times for wishing are: Thursday, December 1, 10:01am - 12:00 midnight; Friday, December 1, 12:01 am - 10:16 am - AND - 8:42 pm - 12:00 midnight. These times are in Eastern Standard Time and need to be converted to your local time zone.

Among other things, SAGITTARIUS rules direct and honest speech- placing the importance of Truth above attempts to manipulate the mind of another to gain acceptance. It’s the ideal New Moon for wishing to add into your life qualities of a more direct and straightforward way of being yourself. Because this first New Moon of December is in the sign of Sagittarius, it’s the ideal New Moon for wishing to increase your feelings of optimism and trust in positive outcomes.

THE SECOND NEW MOON: Friday, December 30, 10:13 pm, Eastern Standard Time. Be sure to check the homepage of this site later in the month for tips on how to best use the 2nd New Moon to empower your wishes to come true!

26T ~ If I'm reading this right, it'll be at 9 Sag..... http://www.throughnightsfire.com/NewMoonChart.html

Christina ~ What time zone are you in?? Eastern or Central?? 10am EST is 9am CST.....

future ~ 26T put up a gread thread last Feb I think and it got bumped a bunch of times with each New Moon, but now that the Search function's in Randall's Hospital, it'd take time to find it. There's some good directions (and even rituals) for making your New Moon Wishes -- have fun!!

If you're in Illinois, you're in Central Standard Time.

Cancerian Moon ~ I'm not sure, but it looks like Sydney is +11 from GMT, according to the map here: http://www.worldtimezone.com/
and you can click on your flag here: http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/

Nove ~ Yes! I know very little about this, but you could be having a Lunar Return. Put up a thread to 26Taurus, or see what you can come up with at google.....

I MADE the wishes!! Jsut now! At 9:02 and I came back inside at 9:09. That was waht you were suppose to do right? I mean, I wrote down ten wishes, I went out, read them (amid snow and freezing breezes) and the nburied it in a tree..since the grounds hard from cold. Is that all right? I'm going to go out again at 11:01..(12:01 for you easterners!) Is it all right if I didn't see the moon?

Christina ~

You did fine! And if you DID see the Moon, I would wonder what you'd been smoking

New Moon Wishes are not a standard cut-and-dried routine that you must follow. If you did it in a way that felt right for you, then it's alright!!

actually, i just remade a wish..at 10:01...becuase i went and rewrote my wishes and they looked prettier. But this is something awesome. I went out, and there was on single star. and it was so bright I thought it was an air plane, or something like that. so I looked up at it, and wished for everything, world peace, love, a charmed life, blessings. And then, I went off to a tree and started digging with a stick, and then i started putting the paper I wrote the wishes on in the little hole (and please keep in mind it is negative degree outside) and then a really realy STRONG gust of wind, it was so strong I thought something must of caused it, because the whole time I was out there the breeze was gentle and barely felt, but this wind was so strong! I was a little bit afriad for a bit, but then decided it was the universe saying something or other. I'm just hoping its a good something. I did in my wish, add um...I wish to thank the angels, give inner peace to humans and demons and grateful love to the universe. Do you think thats a good thing? And now my puppy's barking..which he hasn't done all day. Brrrrr.

Thanks for posting this Zala. Do you have a link to ideas for rituals during New Moons? I know it's personal to each person but I'd like to get some ideas from other people to get inspired
